Resetting your settings to their default can help you fix games that aren't working properly.Everything but your custom controller mappings will be deleted when you reset your system settings.The buttons you assign for your controller or keyboard can be reset from the "Controls" menu.
Step 1: The PPSSPP will be launched.
Regardless of platform you are using, the process for restoring the settings is the same.
Step 2: The menu on the right has a "Settings" button.
This will open the settings menu.
Step 3: The system is at the bottom of the menu.
The settings will be displayed.
Step 4: Go to the "General" section.
It's about half way down the menu.
Step 5: Click or tap to restore the settings.
You'll be asked to confirm.
Step 6: You should confirm that you want to restore the settings.
Control mappings will not be reset, but everything else will be restored and the process can't be undone.This will reset your settings to their default state.
Step 7: Go back to the main menu.
To reset the settings, you'll need to exit and restart PPSSPP.The device's Back button can be used to return to the main menu.
Step 8: Click "Exit" if you want to relaunch PPSSPP.
This will allow you to clear your settings.
Step 9: The PPSSPP will be launched.
The process of resetting controller settings is the same no matter which device or computer you use.All of the buttons on your connected gamepad or keyboard will be set back to their original settings if you change your control mappings.If you like how your controller is configured, this can be useful.
Step 10: In the upper-right corner is where you can tap or click.
This will open the settings menu.
Step 11: The "Controls" tab is on the left side of the screen.
The general control settings will be displayed.
Step 12: Click "Control mapping."
This will show all of the control mappings.
Step 13: To remove the current controls, select "clear all"
You will be able to enter the buttons you want to use when the mappings are removed.
Step 14: To reset the controls back to the default, select "Restore defaults"
