The person who owns the ephemeral communication will usually be notified by taking a picture of it.The process is more complicated if you don't want the other person to know about it.The article will teach you how to take a picture of something.
Step 1: You can learn how to take pictures of your phone.
You need to be able to do it quickly if you want to take a screenshot of a Snapchat.Make sure you're okay with the other person knowing that you are taking a screenshot.The method for taking a picture is different for each phone.Most newer phones can takeScreenshots, but not every phone can.There are instructions for a few of the most popular models.Press and hold the Power and Home buttons.The Power and Volume Down buttons can be held by pressing and holding them.
Step 2: Open the app that you want to use.
The other person will be aware that you are taking a picture.Press and hold it together.There is a timer in the upper-right corner.To keep it active, keep pressing your finger on the screen.
Step 3: Press the buttons.
If you have to, do this with your other hand.The other user will be notified when the screenshot is captured.Your phone's gallery is where the screenshot will be saved.
Step 4: You can test this on your own.
To be safe, send a message to yourself.If you want to try it with someone else's photo, you should try this method first.If you test this method on your own Story, it should work.There are people who can get this to work on Stories.
Step 5: Turn on the airplane.
Airplane mode will make your internet connection useless.This prevents a notification from being sent to another person.The instructions can be found on the Apple device if you press the airplane symbol.On most devices, go to settings, scroll down to "Wireless and Networks," touch More, and check the box or switch to airplane mode.These instructions can be seen if this doesn't work.
Step 6: The app is offline.
You should see a red bar at the top of your screen when you turn on Airplane mode.Please try again.You are offline if you don't see this red bar.Make sure Airplane mode is turned on.
Step 7: Open the app.
You can open the app to take a picture.If you want to try this, you should try it with your own Snapchat.
Step 8: Take a photo.
Press the Power and Home buttons at the same time to take a picture.If this doesn't work, look at the instructions for the other two phones.You don't have to hold a finger down on the image anymore.
Step 9: You can log out of the app.
The settings menu can be opened by tapping the icon in the upper right corner.Log out by scrolling down to the bottom.
Step 10: The app needs to be closed.
After you return to your Home screen, it will be running in the background.You have to close it completely if you want to avoid having a notification sent.The Recent Apps button is at the bottom of the screen.If you don't have this button, you can try one of the other methods described here.
Step 11: Wait for it to close.
You should wait at least a few seconds.This won't work if you go back online before the app closes.
Step 12: Turn off Airplane mode
Go back to your settings and turn off Airplane mode.
Step 13: You can open the app.
You shouldn't say "Screenshot" next to it.The other person won't even know that you opened it.You can open it again.
