How To Search Within a Folder on Google Drive on iPhone or iPad

You can learn how to search through your folders and files on the Google Drive app.You can search through all of your files on Google Drive, even if you don't have a way to filter your search results.

Step 1: Go to Google Drive.

The app has a green, blue and yellow triangle.If you haven't already done so, download the app from the App Store and log in with your account.

Step 2: You can tap.

There is a magnifying glass icon on the screen.

Step 3: You can type the name of the file you're looking for.

Below the search bar, you can find the file types you are looking for.PDF, Text Documents, Spreadsheets, Presentations, Photos & Images, Videos, Folders, and Audio are some of the file types.You won't be able to search for the names of the folders if you select "folders".You won't be able to search through the contents of the folder.

Step 4: There is a matching file in the search results.

You can find the matching file at the bottom of the search results.If you cannot find the file, try broadening your search terms and if you include any file types, you can remove them by tapping the "x" icon in the bars below the search bar.
