How To Search Your Google Photos on PC or Mac

You can find all the pictures and videos in your library using a desktop internet browser.You can find your library by location, contact or file type.

Step 1: You can open the photos in your browser.

If you want to return to your keyboard, type photos.google.com into your browser's address bar.Click if you're not automatically signed in, then enter your password and click again.

Step 2: The search bar is at the top.

You can find the search bar at the top of your screen.You can open the search page in your browser with this.

Step 3: The location should be entered into the search.

You can see a list of all the photos taken at the same location by using location tags.Here, you can find a town, city, country or exact map coordinates.Return to your keyboard if you want to see the search results.

Step 4: Below the search bar is a contact's picture.

Below the search bar, you'll see a list of your tagged contacts.Clicking on a contact's picture will show you all the photos they're tagged in.If you want to enter your contact's name into the search field, hit Enter or Return to search them.

Step 5: There is a file type on the menu.

You can click any file type on the drop-down menu below the search bar.This will show you the files in your library.The entire list can be seen if you click at the bottom of the drop-down.You will be able to search your files with this.
