How To Set Up Windows Hello

You can use Windows Hello to gain access to your Windows device.You have to set it up before you can use it.

Step 1: Sign-in options can be found in the settings.

Step 2: Under Face sign-in, choose "Set up" or "Improve recognition".

Step 3: You have to enter in your PIN.

Step 4: Look at the camera.

As Windows Hello recognizes it, it will box your face.If it is having trouble, move closer or away.

Step 5: As needed, improve recognition.

If it has trouble recognizing you due to a change in facial features, repeat the process again.

Step 6: You can go to the sign-in options.

Step 7: Under sign-in, choose "set up" or "add another".

Step 8: You have to enter your PIN.

Step 9: Pick out your fingerprints.

The parts of your fingerprints that still need to be read will light up.

Step 10: Continue to look at your fingerprints.

Step 11: The edges should be captured.

Step 12: If necessary, add more fingerprints.

Step 13: You can go to the sign-in options.

Step 14: Under "Security key", you can choose whether to set up or add another.

Step 15: Do you know the type of key?

Some of them have a button.Others use a HID card reader.

Step 16: You can either put the key in the port or into the reader.

Step 17: You have to enter your PIN.

Step 18: The security key has a button on it.

This will finish programming.

Step 19: The security key should be removed when prompted.

For later identification, you can name your security key.

Step 20: Go to the settings for devices.

Step 21: If you want to add a device, tap "add Bluetooth or other device".

Step 22: "Bluetooth" is what you should choose.

Step 23: You can choose your device.

When you pair from your PC, most of the time, it works.Your phone may give an error if you pair from it.

Step 24: Either enter the code or confirm it.

Step 25: Go to settings > accounts > sign-in options.

Step 26: Under "Dynamic lock", scroll to the very bottom and choose "allow Windows to detect when you're away and automatically lock the device".

Step 27: You can use your phone or watch to move away from your computer.

Your computer should be locked up.

Step 28: You can use your PIN, picture password, face, fingerprints, security key, or Microsoft account password.
