How To Share an Excel Workbook Online

You can share your workbook with other people so they can work on it the same way.You can learn how to share an excel spreadsheet online with excel for the web.

Step 1: If prompted, go to office.com/launch/excel and log in.

Step 2: You can open your project or create a new one.

A link will be sent to the people you entered before.You can save the link to your clipboard so you can send it manually.When a person edits your workbook and you're also editing it, they'll see a colored outline represent their cursor, so when they are working on a cell, that cell will become outlined in their editing colorYou can see comments added to a cell by going to.Clicking that cell will reveal the comment if there is a purple flag in the cells.The chat feature is located in the upper right corner of the page and can be used by both you and another person.
