If you want the people you're chatting with on Viber to know your current location, you can share that right from your chat window, either by enabling location sharing or explicitly sending your location from a map.
Step 1: You can launch the app.
Look for the app on your phone.It has a phone in a chat box and a purple background.You can launch it by tapping on it.
Step 2: Start a conversation.
The "chats" icon can be found from the bottom menu.This will show your conversations in your inbox.The chat window will appear if you tap on the corresponding name.
Step 3: It is possible to enable location sharing.
If you want this person to know where you are at the moment, you can enable location sharing on Viber and your current location will be attached to the messages you send.To enable this, tap on the gray arrowhead to the right of theCompose field.A note will appear on the arrowhead when it turns purple.location sharing is on if the arrowhead is purple.
Step 4: Send a message.
You can type in your message in the Compose field.
Step 5: Send the message.
The Compose field has a button on the right that you can tap to send a message.While location sharing is on, every message you send to your contact will have a pin icon which shows your current location.
Step 6: You can launch the app.
Look for the Viber app on your phone.
Step 7: Start a conversation.
The "chats" icon can be tapped from the bottom menu.This will show you all your conversations in your inbox.The chat window will appear if you tap on the corresponding name.
Step 8: An item should be inserted.
If you don't want to enable location sharing from Method 1, you can include it in a message.The icon is from the left of theCompose field.There is a small menu of possible items you can insert with a message.
Step 9: Send the location.
To send location, tap the button from the menu.This will allow you to pin your location on a map.
Step 10: Do you know your current location?
To navigate through the map, use your fingers.You can zoom in and out.You can set the map to show what you want to send.The map will be sent to your contact.
Step 11: Send the map.
When you are done, tap the button at the upper right corner.You will receive a map with your pinned location.
