How To Sign Up for Free Amazon Prime Student Version

Students can sign up for a six-month student version of Amazon.com's popular Prime service for free, which includes two-day shipping and other benefits.You must have an email address ending in.edu in order to sign up for this version, but it does not have to be the main address on the account.If not canceled, the student version will become standard Amazon Prime for 50 percent off the current price.The student version of Prime is different than the regular version.You don't get the benefits of streaming videos and music with the regular Prime.

Step 1: You need to sign into your account.

You can either sign in or create an account if you click on the button above.Press on to sign in.

Step 2: Go to the Amazon website and try Prime.

Select "Try Prime free" from the drop-down.

Under Amazon student, click "Learn more".

Step 6: Your.edu email address will be confirmed by Amazon.

Step 7: You can confirm your email by logging into your.edu email address.

If you can't find the email, you should check your junk folder.

Step 22: Click on "Amazon Student Membership" if you want to set it up.

Step 23: You can cancel your student membership.
