How To Snuggle

It's a way to get closer to another person.Both physically and emotionally.If the mood is right, get into a comfortable position, relax, and enjoy the moment.If you've never done snuggling before, it can be intimidating.There isn't much to it.By getting all cozy and prepared, you can make the first move and settle into a nice position and enjoy a little bit of intimate time with your partner or yourself!

Step 1: Make sure you smell great.

Personal hygiene is one of the first things you need to think about.No one wants to be with a person who hasn't showered in a while.Have a hot shower before your boyfriend or girlfriend shows up.It's a good idea to wash your hair with a scented cleanser.Put something on your pulse points, such as behind your ears, in your inner wrists, and at the base of your throat, with a little perfume or aftershave.If the smell is too strong, you can turn off the application of perfume or cologne.You should wash your mouth and brush your teeth.

Step 2: Set the mood.

Set the mood for some intimate snuggling is the second thing you need to do.Try to get as much privacy as possible -- make sure any parents/siblings/ friends/roommates are out of the house, or at least make them promise that they will not stay in the room.The lights should be turned off.If you want to make the atmosphere more romantic, turn off the main light in the room and use a few lamps.If you really want to increase romance levels, try lighting a few scented candles.The room should be warm, but not too hot.You don't want your date to be cold, but you do not want them to get close to you.A small fire can be romantic.

Step 3: Get used to it.

It's important that you and your date aren't sitting on the floor when snuggling.Pick a location with a comfortable couch, love seat, or bed.When there's an awkward elbow or hip bone getting in the way of a good cuddle, pile on plenty of pillows or cushions.You can drape a big blanket over the back of the couch to keep the two of you warm.Once a good snuggling position has been established, you will be able to grab it.It needs to be soft, not like some wool blankets.

Step 4: Ask your date to sit down.

When your date arrives, steer them towards your location and ask them to sit down.You want to make sure that all of their needs are taken care of in advance so that something as silly as "needing a glass of water" won't interrupt your snuggling later on.You want them to be as comfortable as possible, so tell them they're welcome to take their shoes off and sleep under the blanket.Start the movie, TV show, game, or any other activity you had planned for the evening.

Step 5: You have to make your first move.

Sit down next to your date so you can set the plan in motion.You can try resting your arm on the back of the couch behind your date's head, but it may feel unnatural for girls.You can transfer your arm to your date's shoulder when you've built up your courage.You can try grabbing your date's hand.You can either hold it or play with it.You can start playing with your date's hair by twisting it around or stroking it.You could try massaging their neck or tugging on their earlobe.It doesn't matter what you do, the point is to initiate physical contact so you can easily transition into a full-on cuddle.

Step 6: You have to commit to it.

You can smoothly transition into a complete cuddle once you break the touch barrier.Guys can pull their date closer by wrapping their arm around her shoulders.She can rest her head on their chest or shoulders.Girls can hug the guy's arm while resting their head on his shoulder or chest.You can rest your legs across the guy's lap if you want to get really comfortable.You are snuggling!

Step 7: Try different things.

There will be no stopping you now that the snuggling has begun.Try a sitting spoon, where you both sit facing the same direction, with the small spoon in between the big spoon's legs and lying back against their chest.The big spoon can hold the small spoon's shoulders.Try resting your head in the lap of your date.The partner can be stroked by the sitting partner.If you've lost interest in what you were doing before, you can try some intimate poses which require both of you to be lying down.Lying down, facing each other, will allow your legs to be intertwined.The position is perfect for intimate conversations.Another great horizontal pose is for one person to lie on their back while the other rests their head on the chest.This is a good place to sleep.

Step 8: Take a hot drink and have a snack.

To keep yourself entertained, make sure to grab yourself some tasty treats.It's like getting a hug from the inside out when you have a warm drink like tea or hot cocoa.

Step 9: Take a blanket.

If you're snuggling alone, you won't have another body next to you for comfort and warmth, so grab the biggest, comfiest blanket you can find and wrap yourself up in it.

Step 10: You should surround yourself with pillows.

You can make a pillow fort from all of the pillows in the house.Put a couple behind your back and head, press one against your stomach, and hold one between your legs.)

Step 11: You can invite a pet to join you.

This is cheating a bit on the "solo" part, but there's no denying that cats and dogs are excellent cuddle partners.It will bring your snuggling to a whole new level if you have your pet next to you.
