How To Stop New Ride Requests While on a Ride in Uber Driver

If you want to take a break after you pick up a passenger, you can set your driver app to go offline at the end of the ride.You don't appear online once you finish the trip if you read this article.

Step 1: If you are using third-party navigation, switch to the driver of the car.

The blue bar at the top of the phone's screen is where you can return to the app.You can switch back and forth between apps on your phone.

Step 2: There is a bar at the bottom that lists your time.

This will open the next steps dialog box.

Step 3: The on-ride Trip Planner can be accessed with the listing button.

To the right of the passenger's name is the button.

Step 4: You can stop new requests with the all-caps button.

The circular button is located at the bottom of your screen and will be marked with a white hand on a red background.The button will say "Stop New Requests".

Step 5: Give it time.

It will change the button's color to grey and turn your future availability off.You'll see the menu add another line below the Dropoff listing once it's fixed.

Step 6: The menu should be closed.

You can either tap the top bar or the drop-down arrow to complete the ride request for this rider.

Step 7: Continue with the rest of the trips.

Drop them off if you have accepted them open.If you absolutely need to cancel a ride, you may do so.Be aware that your cancellation ratings will be impacted.

Step 8: Rate the passenger using the star scale and then tap the Rate Rider button.

You'll be offline within a half a second.
