How To Sync a Samsung Phone and Tablet

If you've purchased another device from the same company, you will want them to work just like one another.You can learn how to use sidesync and flow to sync your phone and tablets so that your experiences are the same.

Step 1: You can get the Smart switch from the Play Store.

The Play Store can be found on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or on your phone.The app needs to be installed on both your phone and tablets.You'll want to use Smart switch with the newest software updates.Smart switch is pre-installed on most new watches, tablets, and phones.It's the only app that allows you to transfer data from a non-samsung device.You can find the "samsung smart switch" in the search bar of the Play Store.You can install the free app on both your phone and tablets.

Step 2: You can open the smart switch on your phone.

There is a blue icon with a white "S" made of two curved arrows.You can find it on one of your Home screens or in the app drawer.

Step 3: You can agree on your phone and tablets.

It is at the bottom-right corner of the screen.You agree to the Terms of Service when you tap this.If you click on the bolded text in the pop-up message, you will be taken to their Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Step 4: You can allow on your phone and tablets.

It is at the bottom right corner of the screen.Permission to the app for the data transfer procedure is given by this step.

Step 5: Data can be sent on your phone.

"What should this phone do?" is what the app will prompt you to ask.If your phone is sending data, you can send it.

Step 6: You can receive data on your tablets.

"What should this device do?" will be asked by the app.Since it is receiving the data from your phone, you need to let it accept it.

Step 7: Wireless is available on your phone.

You can choose if you have a cable to connect the two devices.If you tap, you don't need a cable.Your phone will attempt to make a noise that is too high-pitched for your ears to hear, in order to connect to your tablet.Your phone and tablet won't work if you're not within hearing distance of the noise.

Step 8: You can use the phone on your tablet.

"What's your old device?" will be asked by the app.Since your phone is sending the data, you need to tap the first option in the menu to continue.

Step 9: You can use Wireless on your tablets.

To connect successfully, you need to tap the same connection you used for the phone.

Step 10: You can accept on your device.

When the devices connect, you will see a confirmation message on the tablet that your phone is attempting to make a connection.

Step 11: Select the content you want to receive.

The circle is next to each type of data you want to receive.,.

Step 12: The arrow is pointing in a different direction.

The files from the phone will sync with the tablets.When the transfer is finished, a confirmation message will appear on both screens.If you choose to transfer account information, you'll be asked to confirm the information on the phone.

Step 13: You can use the phone and tablets.

You will see a summary of what data was transferred after the data transfer is over.If you want to sync the other way around, you should use the original device and the phone as the new one.

Step 14: Sidesync is available on both your phone and tablet.

Step 15: Attach your device to your phone.

If you want to connect your phone and tablets with a direct connection, you have to make sure they are using the same wi-fi network.

Step 16: Sidesync can be used on both your phone and tablet.

The icon is purple and blue.If your phone is on the same network, your tablets should detect it and load it.

Step 17: You can press the phone icon on the screen.

You can see this inside a SideSync application window on your tablet's screen.Your phone's screen will be displayed on your tablets screen once the app loads on the phone.You will be able to control your phone with your tablets from here.

Step 18: You can open My Files from your phone.

If you want to transfer a photo or video, you can open your photo gallery.

Step 19: If you want to transfer files from your phone to your tablets, drag and drop them.

You can transfer any document in this way.If you want to transfer your information from your phone to your tablet, you can drag files from the computer to the phone screen.

Step 20: You can get the Flow from the Play Store on both your phone and tablets.

The Play Store can be found on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or on your phone.The app needs to be installed on both your phone and tablet.Flow is compatible with other operating systems.The top of the app store's screen is where you'll find the search bar for "Samsung Flow".You can install the free app on both your phone and tablets.

Step 21: Open Flow can be accessed on both your phone and tablets.

The app icon looks like it has two ends.You can find it on one of your Home screens, in the app drawer, or by searching.

Step 22: You can choose your phone's icon on the screen.

Under "Available Devices" you'll see this.

Step 23: You can choose your connection method by tapping on the screen.

You can use any of the above.

Step 24: On your phone and tablets, tap OK.

You should check to make sure that the passkey is the same on both devices.Press if the codes are different.

Step 25: Permissions can be accepted if they are requested.

To use all the features of the app, Flow needs permission to access your location, storage, phone, contacts, SMS, and microphone.You should be able to see a blank Flow screen on your phone.

Step 26: The plus icon is on either your phone or tablet.

You can send information from one platform to another by pressing the plus icon.An app panel will allow you to share information.The My Files app is where you'll find the downloads folder from Instagram.The majority of non-samsung app information will be in My Files.

Step 27: You can share the information with the app.

If you want to share image files, you can tap the Images app.You can share the information with that app.

Step 28: If you want to share the file, tap it.

You can see a list of images you have taken with your phone or tablet's camera if you tap the Images app.You can see a check mark fill a circle in the top left corner of the image when you tap the file.You can share more than one image at a time.

Step 29: You have to tap Done.

This can be seen in the upper right corner of the app.The file will send a message to your other device and then be saved to that device.If you send a photo from your phone to your tablet, the photo will be saved on your device once the file sync is complete.You can reverse the order that you're sharing.If you want to sync information to your phone, you can tap + on your tablet.
