How To Sync Your Facebook Account with an Android Device
People with a phone most likely use it to view their Facebook accounts.With technology allowing you to sync multiple accounts into your device, Facebook contacts are becoming more and more important to keep track of.When you launch your phone for the first time, Facebook will prompt you to sync with it.If you want to sync your Facebook with your phone, scroll to step 1 and figure out how to do it.
Step 1: Go to the settings on your phone.
The settings icon can be found in the app drawer.Look for the icon and tap it.Depending on the device, the settings icon may look like a wrench.
Step 2: Go to accounts and sync.
Step 3: Go to Facebook.
To see this option, you must have a Facebook account.
Step 4: If you want to sync contacts, tick it.
Before you start, be sure to check this box.
Step 5: On the button, tap on it.
This might take a few seconds depending on your internet speed and the number of contacts you have.You should check your contacts.If you can see the Facebook icon next to your contacts, then you have successfully transferred your account to the new device.
Step 6: Open the app on your phone.
Go to your phone and select the icon.
Step 7: You can search and download.
You can find the search icon on the top right corner of your screen.Select it when it appears in the app.Wait for the download to finish before hitting the install button.
Step 8: Open Facebook contact sync.
Step 9: You can choose a sync type.
The option is called the "sync type".When the app opens, it should be the first option you see.As per the description of the choices, you can choose your preferred method.
Step 10: The sync Frequency can be determined.
The "sync Frequency" option is available.You can choose which intervals you want the app to sync.
Step 11: Do you want to sync all contacts or not?
You can tick the box if you want all your contacts to be synchronized.Leave the box unticked if you just want the data of existing contacts.
Step 12: You can choose if you want a full sync or manual sync.
You can remove and re-import contacts with the "Run Full Sync" option.Selecting either option will sync your contacts if you don't.
