How To Take Notes on an Android Tablet

You can use your phone to take notes on the go.Whether you use the on-screen keyboard, voice recording, or your stylus, your tablet can make your pen-and-paper notebook look like a relic of the past.You will need a note-taking app to start.It's a great basic option that is completely free.One of the options is free but also has a paid upgrade option.You can learn how to take notes on your phone.

Step 1: You can open the keep on the search engine.

Keep is a cloud-based note taking app.Its icon is a yellow sheet of paper.If you don't already have it, you can download it for free from the Play Store.The ability to maintain separate "Notebooks" is missing from Google Keep, which is a great option for basic notes.If you need a binder that's similar to a school binder, you may want to consider using Evernote.

Step 2: To take a new note, tap +.

It is at the bottom right corner.

Step 3: You can enter a title.

It's important to give your notes relevant titles if you're taking notes for school or work.To enter something that will help you find what you're looking for later, tap the "Title" field at the top of the note.

Step 4: The note options can be brought up by tapping the +.

There is a note at the bottom- left corner.To type a note with regular text, tap the screen to open the keyboard.You can take a photo with your camera and add it to the note on this menu.You can choose an image from your tablets.If supported by your tablet, you can write or draw with your finger.The drawing/writing tools are at the bottom of the screen.The notes won't be converted to text if you write them by hand.If you want to be able to convert your handwritten notes to text, you can take photos of paper, a whiteboard, or any other writing using the feature.After taking the photo, tap the three dots at the top-right, and select to extract the text from the image and add it to the note.It is used to record notes with your voice.Your words will be transcribed when you speak.You can play the recording back by pressing the play button at the bottom of the note.There is a check at the beginning of each line.

Step 5: The main Keep screen has a back button on it.

You may have to tap it several times.All of your notes can be found on the main Keep screen.

Step 6: You should organize your notes.

You can see your notes on the main screen.Keep's tools can be used to keep your notes in order.At a time, you can pick more than one note.If you want to apply a color to a note, tap the top of the color palette.Pick a note and then tap the pushpin to pin it to the top.To apply a label to a note, tap the label icon at the top and then select it.The "enter label name" field can be used to create a new label.To move notes around the screen, hold a note and drag it to another location.The icons at the bottom of the screen can be used to create quick notes of certain types, and you can even use the pencil to write notes with your finger or stylus.To find a specific note, tap the search bar at the top and enter your criteria.

Step 8: You can open the app on your phone.

Step 9: Either way, sign in or create an account.

You'll need an account to use the service since it saves all of your notes in the cloud.You will be asked to sign in or create an account the first time you open the app.To create a link to your account, tap.That's one less password to remember.To create your account, follow the on-screen instructions.If you want to sign up with your email address, enter it into the field, tap and then follow the instructions on the screen.You'll be prompted to sign up for a free trial of Evernote Premium, which has extra features such as offline notebooks, and sync to all devices.If you don't want to sign up, you can just close the ad.You'll be prompted to create a type of note after signing up.If you want to go to the main screen, you have to tap the checkmark at the top- left corner and then the back button.

Step 10: The navigation menu has a tap on it.

There are three horizontal bars at the bottom left corner.This is where you can see all of your notes at once.It's where you can find the notes you starred for easy access.There is a list of virtual notebooks.It helps keep your notes organized.You can create separate notebooks for each class if you are taking school notes.It's where you'll find other users' notes.You can organize your notes with these options.If you want to close it, tap outside of the menu.

Step 11: A new notebook can be created.

You can set up a new notebook with the three-line menu.You can tap.You can enter a name and tap it.This will take you to your new notebook with no notes.

Step 12: To create a new note, tap and hold it.

Your first blank note will be created when you open your new notebook.If you don't want to make a blank note, you can use templates.You can do this by tapping the up-arrow to the right of the New Note button.If you have handwritten notes in a notebook, on a whiteboard, or anywhere else that you want to use as text in Evernote, you can use the scanner to do so.Instead of tapping, tap the up-arrow to the right and select the note.Only JPGs can be used for searching, so make sure to choose and not.Clear your handwriting for the best results.

Step 13: The title should be entered.

Step 18: To save your note, tap the checkmark.

Step 19: To see other options, tap the three dots.

There is a note at the top-right corner.You can add descriptive tags to your notes to keep them organized.An alert is made at a certain time.There is a link to the note in the navigation menu.This can be used on notes that you reference a lot.If you want to create a second copy of the note, you can move it to a different notebook.To get rid of the note, tap at the bottom.
