How To Test Your LCD Display on Your Android

Step 1: Go to the play store.

You can open its icon from your phone's home screen.There are different kinds of software that are specifically designed for the devices.

Step 2: There is a screen test application.

A list of corresponding apps will be displayed when you press the magnifying glass icon to start searching.There are a lot of apps that are made for testing displays.The most recommended applications to get are those developed by Amberfog.

Step 3: The screen testing app needs to be installed.

If you want to install the app on your phone, tap the button on the Overview page.If you tap on the Permissions screen that appears, you will be able to download and install the app onto your device.

Step 4: You can use the screen test app.

To open it, tap it from your home screen.There are two buttons inside: Test and Exit.

Step 5: Start testing.

You can start the test by pressing the button.Red, blue, green, black, and white are some of the colors the application will change your screen into.To cycle between colors, simply tap anywhere on the screen of your device and its color will change to the next one.

Step 6: Look for dead and stuck objects.

If you see a black square dot on your screen when you change it from one solid color to another, it's a dead or stuck pixel.If you can't prevent the problem from getting worse, take your device to an authorized repair center.

Step 7: Go away from the application.

To return to the app's menu screen, press your back key.Press the "Exit" button to close the application and go back to the home screen.
