How To There is a game that you can play called Sabacc.

If you are a big fan of the Star Wars franchise, you may be familiar with the popular card game, Sabacc. The game works like a hybrid of blackjack and traditional poker with an added twist, which is known as a "Sabacc Shift." Thankfully, you don't need a card-dealing android to enjoy. You only need a pair of dice, a deck of special Sabacc cards, and a few other people to play the game.

Step 1: Acquire your own cards.

A traditional Sabacc deck has 76 cards with unique suits and values, so you can't substitute it with a regular deck of cards. You can play the game in the Star Wars universe if you search online for a custom deck. You can find the cards here: http://www.swagonline.net/sabacc-swag-way.You can buy cards online.

Step 2: There are special card values in the deck.

The saber, flask, coin, or stave suits are traditionally used to hold sabacc cards. The top cards in the deck are known as the ace, master, mistress, and commander, along with the face cards which are called "Moderation," "Demise," and "Balance."The Commander card has 12 points, the Mistress 13, the Master 14, and the ace 15.The Star, The Evil One, Moderation, Demise, Balance, and Queen of Air and Darkness are worth points.

Step 3: A total of 23 or -23 is the goal.

Similar to blackjack, players try to collect multiple cards that equal a 23 or -23 in order to win the round. You can win the round if you get an "Idiot's Array" which includes the card, along with a 2- or 3-valued card. You will be disqualified from the round if your hand is higher than 23 or -23.The player with the Idiot's Array will win the round if another player has a Pure Sabacc.

Step 4: The Main Pot and the Sabacc Pot should be identified.

There are 2 pots, where bets are collected throughout the round. The Main Pot goes to the winner of the round if you have a perfect score of 23 or -23 or a special card combination.Do your best to separate the pots.

Step 5: To start the game, choose a dealer and move to the left.

Pick someone to distribute the cards. The player left of the dealer should always start each round in a clockwise direction. You will be able to keep track of who has or hasn't been in the game.Any person can be the dealer if they want to.

Step 6: Each player should get equal amounts of betting chips.

You can use the betting chips for a regular poker game. The chips are called credits in the Star Wars universe. You can assign different credit values to each chip color, which will apply to the rest of the game.Blue chips can be worth 5 credits, white chips are worth 10 credits and so on.

Step 7: Put a wager in the Main Pot.

Ask the players to put a small amount of game currency into the pots. These are just enough to get the game going and add a little incentive. Each hand you will add the same amount to the pot. Before the game starts, you and the other players can make a wager. Some players put 5 credits into the pot.It might take a few rounds before someone gets something from the pot.

Step 8: Each player will receive 2 cards.

At a time to each player, pass out 1 card from the Sabacc deck.Players are reminded not to share their card totals just yet. After everyone has a card, play another card face-down to the other players. It is similar to traditional poker games in this way.

Step 9: Before betting, draw, trade, or stand the cards in your hand.

Go around the circle once, giving each player a chance to draw a new card, trade in 1 card with the dealer or keep the cards they have, which is known as a stand. While you can draw new cards to get yourself closer to a score of 23 or -23, there is a chance that you will deflate your score with a positive or negative card. You don't want to bomb out if your hand is too low or high. You can't win the round if you have a score higher than 23 and less than -23.

Step 10: If you want to start the betting round, raise or bluff.

You would play traditional poker if you went around the circle.Continue around the circle, raising the bet to add more currency to the Main Pot, if you invite the first player to create a bet.Every player makes a bet.

Step 11: At least 4 more betting rounds are required to build the pot.

As you see fit, raise and bluff around the circle.Predict your opponent's hands with these rounds. To get enough currency in the Main Pot, you need to play for 4 rounds.A player can't call until 4 rounds are over.

Step 12: After each individual play, each betting round, and after a game call, roll a pair of dice.

Roll 2 identical dice frequently throughout the game. The player should roll the dice after their initial turn.If a shift occurs after the game is called, the dice must be rolled again. In the Star Wars universe, androids send out a pulse that changes the value of your cards. This randomizing pulse is replaced by dice in the regular universe. The dice addunpredictability to the game.

Step 13: If doubles are rolled, collect and redistribute the cards.

Take a look at the result of each roll.Continue with the game if the dice show different numbers.Encourage all players to return their cards to the dealer if the dice are the same. The dealer needs to give you the same amount of cards that you had before, so count how many you have. The dealer would give you 3 cards back if you had more than one card in your hand.

Step 14: Place your card in a separate area.

The area in front of you can be either a disruptor field or a zone where your cards won't be affected by the dice. After each turn, you can place a card face-up in this area, which will allow you to use and play this card later on.You can only lock one card into this zone at a time, so choose wisely. The other players will be able to see which cards you lock.

Step 15: Place additional cards in the field 1 at a time.

You can change the number of cards in the disruptor field. As the game continues, add or take out cards from this zone. The same 1-card limit applies each turn, preventing you from adding more than one card at a time.

Step 16: Wait for the player to call the hand.

One player can call after 4 rounds if they are ready to compare and reveal their hands. The remaining players are unable to win the round.

Step 17: Take your hand total and divide it by the other players.

Wait for all players to share their total value so everyone can see it.Any player who has a total higher than 23 or lower than -23 will be disqualified. If anyone has a Pure Sabacc or an Idiot's array, pay close attention.

Step 18: The winner will get the Main Pot's contents.

The winner should be invited to collect everything from the Main Pot.If the player won with a Pure Sabacc, invite them to collect everything from the pot.No one will collect from that pot if no one scores a Pure Sabacc.

Step 19: If you bomb out, place the amount in the Main Pot.

Check the amount of currency in the Main Pot after the round. The losing players should put the same amount into the pot.If the Main Pot winnings were $20, any player who bombed out would put $20 into the Sabacc Pot.

Step 20: If there is a tie, perform a sudden demise.

Any players who tied will get a bonus round. If you want to compare the hands, give each player an extra card. The round is won by the player with the highest hand. The Main Pot winnings should be given to the player with the next highest hand.
