A destination dispatch elevator is a different type of elevator.Unlike most elevators, there are no floor buttons in the lift and they are usually disabled.You can start by entering your destination floor on the keypad.

Step 1: The destination floor can be entered on the keypad or the touchscreen.

Unlike traditional elevators, destination dispatch elevators speed up wait times and travel times by grouping people.To return to the ground floor, press the * key, followed by the basement number.If you have a disability, follow the prompts and press the handicap button.The elevator doors will be kept open longer when the elevator arrives.You have to touch a keycard to get to the panel.The lift may route you to a specific floor if your floor is programmed in this keycard.

Step 2: Proceed to the lift listed on the display.

Follow the arrow.The elevator will lead you to a car.The elevator hall lantern will blink when it arrives.If you are in the wrong elevator bank, you may see an error or see a car number in a different bank.

Step 3: Wait for the doors to open.

You can confirm the lift is going to your destination floor by checking the floor numbers on the inside and outside of the car.Step onto the elevator, be aware of the gap, and hold the doors for the other passengers.

Step 4: Passengers should be allowed to board the car on the floor.

Dispatch elevators group passengers by putting them in the same car and reducing the number of stops.

Step 5: Once everyone is in the car, press the door close button.

If you pressed the handicapped button, this may not work.

Step 6: You can watch the floor indicator and door numbers.

When you get to the floor, your floor number will blink.

Step 7: You should be courteous to other passengers.

It's a good idea to practice normal elevator manners.The elevators that you need to be aware of are the destination dispatch elevators.Don't make a lot of noise, people still need to go.The experience of other passengers should not be impeded.

Step 8: When the floor comes, exit immediately.

You don't want to be carried past your floor as you will waste more time on that floor.You can't just select your floor because there are no buttons.If you miss your floor, exit at the next floor and enter your destination floor again.
