Did the driver arrive on time?Was the ride comfortable?Was the car clean?Did the driver have a positive attitude?Was a reasonable route used?
Step 2: Take your own requests into account.
If your driver has been patient with you, you might want to give them a tip.If you were sick during your ride, this applies as well.
Step 3: Take your fare total into account.
For an average tip, you want to tip between fifteen and twenty percent of your total fare.If your driver was exceptional, you might want to tip more.If you don't have a calculator, take a tenth of your fare and double it to make a twenty percent tip.
Step 4: If you can, send a digital tip.
They advise using the new way to send tips through the app.You can rate your ride on the app.Underneath the button for "Give a compliment", there is a section called "Add a tip for (name)".You can either tap the dollar amount you want to apply as a tip or enter the custom amount.If you've gone the Custom Tip route, you need to type in your amount.If you save this tip, you can apply it to your driver.There is a 30-day grace period for you to give the driver a tip through the app.
Step 5: If you need a cash tip, give it to your driver when you arrive at your final destination.
You can give the driver cash if you choose to tip with a digital tip.It is possible in some locations, so be aware of the local tipping conditions.Put together your tip based on your consideration of the ride and the behavior of your driver.Some drivers don't take a tip at all.You can leave the tip as you please.
