How To Use a Credit Card with Multiple Uber Accounts
The Family Profile feature will allow users to share a single credit card across multiple accounts.This service is limited to a few cities with plans to expand in the future.To get started, the family will need to log in to their account in the app and set up a family profile.Users can join the profile from their contacts list.The credit card on file for the family will bill all rides made from that profile.
Step 1: Go to the App Store or the Play Store.
Once the installation is complete, open it.
Step 2: You have to sign in to your account.
tap "sign in" to enter your email and password.
Step 3: To open the menu, tap ""
There is a button in the upper left corner.
Step 4: Go to the settings.
The button is located at the bottom of the menu.
Step 5: You can add family profile.
The profile creation page will take you there.TheOrganizer will be listed as the account you are signed into.
Step 6: You can add a family member.
You will be able to see your phone's stored contacts.
Step 7: Select all the contacts you want to add.
The selected contacts will be invited to join the profile via email or text.You can enter a mobile number or email for people who aren't listed in your contacts by selecting the search field and typing it in.
Step 8: If you want to make a default payment, tap it.
Credit cards will be displayed on the file.If you want to use a different card, you can add a new one to this page.
Step 9: To make it the default payment, tap a card on the file.
The card will be shared by all members of the family.
Step 10: Accept the invitation to join the profile.
You can join the Family profile by tapping the link in the email or text.
Step 11: You have to open the app to sign in.
There is a map on the home page.
Step 12: Pick a location by dragging and dropping the pin.
Next to the payment method at the bottom of the screen is a trip profile.You can set a pickup location by tapping the search bar at the top and manually entering an address.
Step 13: The icon is for the trip profile.
The payment method has a profile icon next to it.A list of possible profiles will be opened by this.
Step 14: From the list, select the Family Profile.
The Family Profile and its credit card will be charged for the trip.You can change your default profile by opening the menu, tapping the profile picture and selecting a profile.
