How To Use Dead Eye in Red Dead Redemption

In Red Dead Redemption, you can slow down time and make precise shots with Dead Eye.You'll get the ability unlocked at the beginning of the game, and it will upgrade a couple times throughout your journey.You can mark the exact spot you want to shoot with an upgrade.You have to fill your Dead Eye meter in order to use it.

Step 1: "New Friends, Old Problems" is the second mission.

The first level of Dead Eye is unlocked through this mission.You won't be able to use it until you finish this mission.

Step 2: You need to fill your Dead Eye meter.

There is a meter on the right side of the map.Killing enemies can fill your meter.Your meter will fill quicker if you get headshots on enemies.You won't have as much time to use Dead Eye if the meter is full.You can fill your meter with the following items.

Step 3: You should equip a gun.

Dead Eye can be used with a gun.You can use Dead Eye with throwing weapons, but you can only use one per use.Throwing weapons and Dead Eye are not allowed.

Step 9: Level 2 Dead Eye can be used to mark targets.

You'll be able to automatically mark targets when you enter Dead Eye mode after Level 2.If you enter Dead Eye mode, you can move your reticule across multiple targets.As you move the reticule, little marks will appear on them.

Step 10: You should shoot your targets.

Press or shoot after marking targets with Dead Eye Level 2.All of the targets will be shot in rapid succession.If the Dead Eye meter runs out, Marston will fire at all marked targets.Even if they try to hide, you'll still shoot at them.If you mark targets near cover, they have less time to get out of the way before you shoot them.

Step 11: Dead Eye should be upgraded to Level 3 in Mexico.

You'll be able to get the third level of Dead Eye after you get to Mexico.To get to the third level of Dead Eye, you have to complete the mission "The Gunslinger's Tragedy".
