How To Use GParted

GParted is a partition editor that can shrink, split, format, and modify OS partition.

Step 1: You can download gparted-livecd from thesourceforge.net project.

Step 2: ISO burning software can be used.

To burn this file onto a CD.

Step 3: Put the CD in the drive.

If you restart the computer, it will probably boot into the gparted-livecd.Go to step 4.If you don't know if your computer has boot options, then you should restart it.You can change the key to boot from the CD.It's possible that you need to access the settings on some computers.

Step 4: Pick the first option when the boot screen comes up.

Step 5: There are a lot of boot lines.

If you want English, hit enter>.

Step 6: There will be a window open when the system starts.

Step 7: This is to change your partition.

Click "Resize/Move" when you right-click your partition from the list.

Step 8: If you want the partition to be in the "Partition Size" box, you can either drag the bar or enter it.

Step 9: Click the button to apply the changes.
