How To Use Lyft Line on Android

You can learn how to request a ride on the Lyft app.You can save money on the fare if you share your ride with another passenger.Your driver may have to make more stops.If someone else is requesting a ride to the same destination, you won't be able to use the line.

Step 1: It is possible to open Lyft.

The pink icon on the app says "Lyft" in white letters.You need to sign in to your account.

Step 2: The bar has a pickup location.

The address of your current location is shown in a white bar above the purple button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 3: You can enter a pickup location.

To set your current location as the pickup location, you can either type an address or the name of the location you want to be picked up at.In order for the app to detect your current location, location services must be turned on.

Step 4: Pick up by tap set.

There is a button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 5: The bar is at the destination.

The bar has a pink dot next to it, below the bar with the pickup location you set earlier.

Step 6: You can enter a destination.

You can either type an address or the name of the location you want to be dropped off at, or you can set your current location as the pickup location.

Step 7: Share the ride and save at the same time.

The amount of money you can save by sharing the trip will be displayed in a purple speech bubble above the ride option.You can see the available ride options by tapping the purple bubble.It can take a few seconds for it to appear, but if it doesn't, a ride on the line is not available for you.

Step 8: You can tap the ride option.

It's usually the cheapest option when it comes to ride and seat options.

Step 9: To request a line, tap it.

There is a pink button at the bottom of the screen.This will request a ride-sharing service to pick you up and drop you off.Along the way, your driver may need to pick up more passengers.
