You can learn how to watch things with friends online.If that doesn't cut it, you can use online services like Teleparty, Metastream, and Amazon Watch Party.
Step 1: The Teleparty is available for both Microsoft Edge and Chrome.
The name of the party has changed since the service has grown to play more than the videos on it.Although you can use Teleparty to watch movies online with friends, you need to have an account on one of the services.
Step 2: Go to the video you want to watch.
If every person in your group has access to the streaming service, you can watch anything from these services.A person who does not pay for a Disney+ account will not be able to join a Teleparty.
Step 3: You can click the extension icon.
It appears to be a "TP" at the top of your page to the right of the address bar.
Step 4: You can start the party by clicking.
If you don't want others in your party to be able to pause, skip, or stop what's on the screen, click the switch next to "Only I have control"
Step 5: You can share the party.
You can access the link from the chain icon in the top right corner of the Teleparty panel when you first create the party.Those who want to join your party need to enter their web address in their browser when you share the link.Once they get to that page, they will need to sign in to the streaming service that you're using, then click the extension icon to join the party.
Step 6: You can get the Metastream add-on for both browsers.
Teleparty works with different video services than Metastream.Since that works better, Metastream suggests using a Firefox browser.
Step 7: Go to a website called Get Metastream.
To control what's on the screen easily, make sure you use the same web browser that you downloaded the add-on to.
Step 8: You can open the metastream.
It is at the top of the page.
Step 9: Click Get Started if you want to enter your display name.
You can change your main language by clicking the drop-down box.
Step 10: Click the start button.
There is a play icon on the left side of the screen.
Step 11: You can click to invite.
Click the link icon and copy it before you watch the video.If you don't want a million people in the party, you can change the user limit from unlimited to public.Just copy the link to your clipboard and paste it in a message or chat to invite your friends.If it's set to "Private", they can follow that link to request to join your party.You can join them by clicking the green checkmark next to their name in the panel on the right side of the page.If you want other people to be able to control the media, click the three-dot menu icon next to their name, then switch to "Toggle DJ."
Step 12: You can add media.
If you have a specific video that you want to play, enter the URL into the text fields at either the top or bottom of the screen.All the viewers in the party will need to have accounts with the service if a subscription is required.If you don't have a specific video in mind, click a suggested source, like YouTube, browse that site, then click.You will see the content in your watch party as soon as you click.
Step 13: Go to the video you want to watch.
Up to 100 people can watch a movie together using Amazon Prime's Watch Party feature, but they each need their own account or the ability to buy or rent the video.Internet Explorer is not supported by browsers.
Step 14: There is a party hat icon.
The Watch Party button is located to the right of "Watch Now" and will start the creation of a party.
Step 15: Click if you want to create a watch party.
Make sure to enter your name in the panel on the right side of the screen because everyone else in your party will see it.
Step 16: You can share the party.
It will be copied to your clipboard when you click "Copy" under the link.You can join the party by following the link and entering your credentials for Amazon.
Step 17: The details page is where you can find the video you want to watch.
Make sure you use a supported browser to create or join a watch party.Everyone in the watch party needs to have the same type of account to join the party.A person with the ad-version of Hulu can't join a watch party that shows exclusive content that's only available to their account.Everyone will see the breaks where ads are if a party of 8 is watching a movie and only one account is ad-supported.The watch party can include other profiles from your account.
Step 18: There is a bunch of people with a play icon.
The watch icon has a button to the right of it.
Step 19: Click Begin the Party.
You have to be at least 18 years old to join a watch party.
Step 20: You can share the party.
Click the link icon next to the clipboard to paste it.To join, your friends need to click on the link and sign in.
Step 21: Rave can be downloaded from either the App Store or the Play Store.
Rave only works on your mobile phone or tablets, so you won't be able to watch online with friends.The app is free to download from the App Store.
Step 22: You need to open Rave and create an account.
You can create an account with any of the above.
Step 23: It's possible to tap +.
You can find the plus icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Step 24: To navigate to the content you want to watch, tap to select which streaming service you would like to use.
You can create a watch party immediately if the service is free.If you join the party to watch, you must log in to your account to continue.
Step 25: To change the privacy, tap.
Anyone using the app will be able to join if you want only your friends.
Step 26: You can tap.
You can share the link to your friends via compatible apps that are installed on your device.
