You can learn how to add a Facebook "Like" button to your website.After building the button in the Like Button Configurator, you just need to copy and paste two bits of code into your dashboard to make one quick edit for compatibility.

Step 1: Go todevelopers. Facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button

You can use any modern browser.

Step 2: Click to Like Button Configurator.

There is a third section on the page.

Step 3: You can enter your address into theURL to Like box.

Step 4: The width box is where you'll enter your desired width.

The default width is 450 px, so most users can leave this box blank.This is not the width of the Like button.

Step 5: From the menu, choose a button style.

You will see a preview of each style when it is selected.

Step 6: You can choose an action from the menu.

When someone clicks the button, their Facebook followers will see "Recommends this."

Step 7: You can choose from the Button Size menu.

The code should be pasted after the line that begins with body.Click before the first character of the line after the body tag to give yourself a place to paste code.Click the blank line, then press Control+V to paste.

Step 16: The pasted code should be replaced with "&"
