You can learn how to create a fan page on both the website and the mobile app.If you don't already have a Facebook account, you must create one before you can create a fan page.
Step 1: Go to Facebook.
You can go to Facebook in your browser.This will open the News Feed if you already have a Facebook account.If you don't have a Facebook account, you can enter your email address and password in the upper-right side of the page.
Step 2: You can click the "Menu" icon.
There is a triangle icon in the top right corner of the page.A menu will appear.
Step 3: Click on the page you want to create.
It's in the menu.
Step 4: Under the heading "Community or Public Figure", click get started.
The far-right side of the page has this option on it.
Step 5: A page name can be entered.
The "Page Name" text box is on the right side of the page.If you're creating a fan page dedicated to Chris Pratt, you can type "ChrisPratt Appreciation" here.
Step 6: "Just for Fun" is a category.
Click the "Category" text box, type in just for fun, and then click in the drop-down menu.
Step 7: Click Continue.
There is a button in the lower right side of the page.
Step 8: You can take a picture for your page.
If you don't want to do this now, click instead; otherwise, you can upload a profile picture for your page by doing the following:There is a picture on your computer.Click.
Step 9: The cover picture should be uploaded.
If you like, you can skip this step if you click at the bottom of the page.Click if you want to add a cover page.There is a picture on your computer.Click.
Step 10: Take a second to review your page.
If you skip the cover photo process, your Facebook fan page will load, allowing you to review its appearance.You can begin posting on your page at this point.If you click the "Menu" icon, you can open your page at any time.
Step 11: Go to Facebook.
The Facebook app icon looks like a white "f" on a dark-blue background.This will open your News Feed if you're already signed into Facebook.If you don't have a password for Facebook, you will need to enter your email address and phone number.
Step 12: You can tap.
It's in either the bottom-right corner of the screen or the top right corner.There will be a pop-up menu.
Step 13: Click the Pages to scroll down.
There is an orange flag icon next to this option.
Step 14: You can create a page.
It's at the top of the screen if you're on an iPad.You can find the "Owned Pages" section on the upper-right side of the screen.
Step 15: Get started.
There is an option at the bottom of the screen.
Step 16: You can enter a page name.
You can type in the name you want to use for your Facebook page by tapping the "Page Name" text box.
Step 17: There is a category and a subcategory.
Go to the "Choose a category" box, scroll down to select the category, and then tap.
Step 18: You can tap next.
It is at the bottom of the screen.
Step 19: If you need a link, add it to your website.
If you have an existing fan site that you want to link to your Facebook fan page, you need to type the address into the text box in the middle of the "Add a Website" page.If you don't have a website, you can tap in the top-right corner of the page.
Step 20: A profile picture should be added.
If you don't want to use a profile picture for your page, tap instead; otherwise, do the following:You can take a picture from your phone.You can tap.You can tap.
Step 21: A cover photo should be added.
If you tap near the bottom of the page, you can skip this step and add a cover photo.You can take a picture from your phone.You can tap.
Step 22: Go to the Visit Page.
There is a button at the bottom of the screen.This will lead you to your page.
Step 23: Take a second to review your page.
You're free to begin posting once your page loads.By tapping your page's title, you can access it at any time.
