It's easy to make a sound recording in Windows 8.Sound can be recorded using the sound recording application.These methods can be followed by Windows 8.1 users.
Step 1: The "Start" button should be pressed.
The task bar is on the bottom left corner of the screen.You can find it on the keyboard.It looks like a window.If your device has a touch screen, place your finger on the far right side of the screen.You can click on the "Start" icon.It looks like a blue window in the middle of the list.The word "Start" is beneath it.
Step 2: You can search for the sound recorder.

Step 5: If needed, allow microphone access.
If you are using the app for the first time, you may be asked for permission to use your mic.Click "yes" or "okay"If you see a notice that the app doesn't have access to your mic, you need to change it.Go to the menu and select "settings" from the left side of the screen.You can findPermissions from the side menu.The microphone option should be turned on.
Step 6: To begin recording, tap the circle.
You can start making noise for the recording by singing, playing music, or talking.
Step 7: To stop the recording, tap the pause button.
Click the button again if you want to continue the recording.
Step 8: Click "Stop" to stop the recording.
You will see a list of your other recordings if you have made recordings before.The recordings made in this app are saved directly in the app.You will lose those recordings if you get rid of the app.
Step 9: The Sound Recorder Icon is grey.
This will bring you back to your screen.There is a small pop-up on your screen with a red dot and a green bar.
Step 10: To start recording, click on the red dot.
As you begin recording, you may see the colors change from green to yellow to red.The volume is indicated by these.Your recording might be too loud and you should speak softer.You are speaking too loudly if you are wearing red.You should stay in the green or yellow area.It is possible that recordings are too loud.
