You can learn how to save a Facebook picture onto your computer, phone, or tablets.You need a Facebook account to do that.You can't download other people's cover photos.
Step 1: Go to Facebook.
You can go to Facebook in your browser.If you have a Facebook account, this will open the News Feed.If you don't have a Facebook account, you can log in by entering your email address and phone number in the upper-right side of the page.
Step 2: You can download the picture that you want.
Go to the profile of the person who posted the photo to find out if you can download it.You can't save photos on Facebook.You can go to a person's profile by clicking the search bar at the top of the page, typing in their name, and then clicking their profile in the results.
Step 3: You can click the picture.
The picture will be opened in full-screen mode.
Step 4: The picture should be selected.
Place your mouse over the picture.There are several different options around the perimeter of the picture.Before you can take a picture, your mouse must be on the picture itself.
Step 5: Click on the option you want.
If your mouse is on the picture, this option will appear in the bottom-right corner.Clicking on it will prompt a menu to open.
Step 6: Click here to download.
The pop-up menu has this option near it.The picture will be downloaded onto your computer if you do that.Select a save location and then click, for some browsers.The folder is your browser's default download location.
Step 7: You can open Facebook.
The Facebook app icon looks like a white "f" on a dark-blue background.If you have a Facebook account, this will open your News Feed.When prompted to log in, enter your email address and phone number.
Step 8: You can download the picture that you want.

Step 9: Go to the picture.
It opens when you do so.
Step 10: Hold the picture with your hands.
After a couple of minutes, a pop-up menu will appear.
Step 11: When prompted, tap Save Photo.
The pop-up menu has it at the top.You can save the photo onto your phone or tablets.
