HunkerSOLVED: What does -f3 mean on microwave?
I can't set the clock or use it because F3 is on the microwave.I can't set the clock or use it at all when I plug it back into the F3 because of the sound.
When the door is closed, the microwave is still running.Leave the door open so it can be off.Light is still on.Anyone have a solution to this problem?

I wanted to let you know that I have 3 young kids and that they have canceled my request.I unplugged the microwave/ fan a few times and it seemed ok for a couple of minutes, but it acts by itself with loud beeping nonstop and signal.I don't feel safe using this information because I have read it.What can I do?Can you please?
Wow, what an overstatement.The microwave won't kill you.Remove the board and replace it with a new one.The cost is between 150 and 200 dollars.You can clean the board first.It is an easy fix.You can watch videos on how to replace the board.
The code F3 issue was fixed by re-seating the ribbon cables.The cables tend to loosen with time.To fix, you need to remove cables.
It makes sense that a build up of oil may be the underlying issue as the F3 light is beeping to fix.Thank you, I'll try that.
I had a 1 year old microwave.I unplugged it and it started working again. I hope it won't break because it's almost new.We had a microwave for over 6 years.
All the screws were removed from the cover.Pushed on all contacts and wires to the key board and plugged it back in.I will probably replace if the problem persists.Don't have any unwanted fires!
