I want to know if I can run a 120/208V three phase wired house with a 220V welder.

Line Interactive Smart-UPS (SU, SUA, SMT) products with a ""T"" in the part number are designed for a nominal 208v input.Ex: SU5000T, SUA3000XLT.Although transfer points can be widened to allow the unit to function online, it is not designed for this and will run into issues.

If any other input voltages are acceptable, they will be listed as ""Other Input Voltages"" on the web page.

There are other Smart-UPS products that will work in a 220/230/240v environment.

The models use a Double Conversion Online Topology that allows them to have a wide range of input voltages without the use of boost/trim transformers. The only change that needs to be made is to set the output voltage so that it matches the nominal input. The network management card or Powerchute Business Edition can be used to set the output voltage.

These are the next generation Line Interactive models. The models use a high Frequency design that allows them to boost and trim without using a transformer. They are perfect for customers wanting to deploy a single model worldwide because of this.
