If you have had your home renovated or moved your thermostat to a new location, you can use this reset option.Your thermostat will be able to tell you about its new location in a few days.

You can still see your thermostat in the app after you reset the account connection.You will no longer be able to control your thermostat with the app because it will be listed as offline.You need to go to your thermostat's settings to remove it from your account and the app.

If you are moving and want to use this option, you should reset the temperature schedule as well.The new owners will be able to control the system from the beginning.

All Works with Nest connections between your thermostat and other devices will be removed by this option.

Works with Nest devices that are connected to your thermostat may have stopped working.

All network information will be removed from your thermostat.The internet will no longer be connected to your thermostat.

To connect your thermostat to the internet, you need to choose your wi-fi network from the menu.

This option will restore your thermostat to factory settings.

Before using this option to reset to defaults, you should remove your thermostat from your account in the app.

You will need to set it up and add it to your home again, just like you did when you first installed it.

It will take time for your thermostat to learn about you and your home.

Resetting your thermostat won't remove any Nest Temperature Sensors from your account.
