Is the crew app safe?

How do I download the crew app?
- Go to crewapp.com, or download the Crew app on your phone through the Apple store or Google Play store.
- Tap on “Get Crew”
- Enter your phone number.
- Enter the PIN that will be sent to your phone via text (or you can choose to receive it via phone call)

What happened to the Crew app?
Square has acquired Crew, maker of a messaging service for retail and other in-person workers, in a deal to bolster Square's workforce management products. It's the latest move by Square to widen its business beyond payments. Crew's main product is a messaging app for frontline workers.
How do I join the existing Crew app?
Note With a QR code you do have the ability to join the Organization by downloading the app directly from the app store. Select “Join Existing” instead of “create a new organization” and use your QR code from there.
