The musical comedy film Pitch Perfect 3 was written by Kay Cannon and Mike White.A sequel to Pitch Perfect 2 is the third and final film in thePitch Perfect trilogy.The film follows the Bellas, who are graduating from college, as they perform together for the last time during an overseas USO tour.

Stacie is eight months pregnant.At the base in Spain, they were greeted by their liaisons, soldiers Chicago and Zeke.The mean-spirited female quartet Evermoist is one of the bands they meet.The other people use musical instruments, disqualifying them and allowing the Bellas to win.The girl is going to fall for Chicago.Fat Amy learns that her father is staying in their hotel.Amy is invited to a poker tournament while the Bellas are invited for a party.The tournament was set up by a man who wants to be in Amy's life after seeing he has changed.

Beca develops a friendship with DJ Khaled's music producer Theo, who is impressed when she easily produces a mix of her own singing on his editing equipment.The party is thrown into chaos when a fire starts.Stacie calls with news that her daughter has been born and that she is revitalizing the Bellas.On the back of the tour, the Bellas perform.Amy disowns her father after he accidentally revealed that he is only trying to acquire a US$180 million offshore account created by Amy's mother.DJ Khaled wants Beca to open for him.Beca politely declines the offer and returns to her room, but still doesn't say she was asked.

A group of people, including Beca and Amy, are taken aboard a yacht by a man.When Beca learns of the kidnapping, she distracts Amy by leading the Bellas in a performance of "Toxic".The Bellas escape the yacht.DJ Khaled made a proposal to Beca after the military rescued the Bellas.They agree that it's time to move on with their lives if she takes the chance.They know that they will stay in touch with each other.At the USO's final performance, Beca opens for DJ Khaled, then brings the Bellas onstage to sing "Freedom!" '90".

John and Gail were appalled when they realized they didn't record the final performance of the Bellas.Amy uses her new bankroll fortributes to singers named Amy, Aubrey works as a birthing coach, Flo's juice cart becomes an international brand, Cynthia-Rose gets into USAF flight school, and Emily returns to Barden.

On April 11, 2015, a month before the release of the second film, it was announced that Rebel Wilson would return for a third film.She said she would be interested in a Fat Amy spin-off."It would be disingenuous to say that no one's talking about a Pitch Perfect 3; the possibility of it," said Elizabeth Banks, the director and producer of the second film.[8]

Kay Cannon was going to write the script for the third film after it was confirmed on June 10, 2015.On June 15, 2015, it was announced that Wilson and Kendrick would both reprise their roles, and on July 28, 2015, Brittany Snow signed on to return as well.Banks and Max Handelman were also involved in the production of Gold Circle Films.On October 27, 2015, Banks was announced to return as director for the film, however she left that role on June 3, 2016On September 1, 2016 Trish Sie was confirmed to direct the film.Ruby Rose was in talks to join the cast, while Anna Camp was going to return for the sequel.Cannon wrote the script with later drafts by Mike White and Dana Fox.On January 5, 2017, a table read took place, with singer Andy Allo joining as Charity, a rival in a group opposing.On February 6th, the day after Deke Sharon revealed that she would be returning, she posted a photo on her social media accounts to confirm her return.[20][19]

The film's principal photography took place in Atlanta, Georgia, Cdiz, Spain, and Nice, France from January 5 to April 3, 2017.There are 21 and 22 words.

The film has an approval rating of 29%, based on 150 reviews, with an average of 4%."Pitch Perfect 3 strains to recreate the magic that helped the original create a franchise, but ends up sending this increasingly unnecessary trilogy out on a low note," reads the website's critical consensus.The film has a weighted average score of 40 out of 100 based on 35 critics, indicating mixed or average reviews.Audiences gave the film an average grade of "A–" on an A+ to F scale, the same score earned by its predecessor.[29]
