Is Spareroom legit or a scam?
You have to pay a ridiculous amount of money to talk to someone within the first 7 days of an ad going up.
It's a good price for 7 days of access.Criminal.I'm not sure why anyone would use spareroom after that.
I'm also having the same issue.While my ad is getting lots of views, I have received very few messages.
They seem to be responding to stuff if you look at them.This is anecdotal, but my group of friends seem to be using more aggregate-style websites like Nestoria and Zoopla.Maybe it's getting older though.
It's true.It is possible that the marketing team has been fired.There is no user acquisition going on.
The early bird thing is expensive and annoying when I'm looking for a place.I don't get responses for messaging people about places.
It was not a problem to rent a room a couple of years ago.They're trying to turn it into a dating website.Have you watched the videos of people trying to rent rooms?Horrified and desperate.It is the pits, just have to grin and bear it.
