While a dark stain may show faster on tan, light colored daily dirt/lint accumulation will show MUCH faster on a black interior than a light colored one. And besides, it's not like the grease or whatever isn't there on a black interior, it's just that you can't see it as easy.Sep 11, 2018

Why are car interiors so dark?
Most car interiors you'll see at dealerships are black because it's the easiest color to sell. Even though it's not as practical as most people think because black car interiors attract dust and scratches, more people want black interiors and automakers are in the business of supplying what consumers demand.
Is tan interior hard to keep clean?
Tan seats are tough to keep clean. I personally do not like the tan leather with black dash and gray trim pieces. I love the black, very monochrome with the gray vent trim, etc. and on the sport, the headliner is black as well.Sep 11, 2018
