It is a good idea to cook corn.

There are many different ways to cook corn.While corn on the cob can be boiled, microwaved, grilled, steamed, or baked, loose corn is usually boiled.You should read this to learn more about your cooking method.

Step 1: The stockpot of water should be boiled.

The corn cobs should be prepared by removing the husks and silks.Depending on the size of the corn, the amount of water you need will be different.Make sure you use enough water to cover the ears of corn.If you want to add salt to the water, it's not necessary.The stem of the corn should be snapped off with your hands.Pull the stem over the corn to remove the husks.You can remove the husks with your fingers.Under running water, rinse the corn cobs.Rub your hands over the corn to free it from the threads.

Remove the corn from the grill and serve it on a platter.You can handle it with your bare hands.If you use butter on the corn before grilling it, you don't need to add more.

Step 13: Water must be boiled in the steamer.

As you wait, husk and de-silk the corn.If you don't have an actual steamer, you can use a large stockpot and metal colander.Before attempting to use the metal colander, make sure it rests on the lip of the stockpot.The stockpot should not be below the halfway point of the basket portion.Remove the stem of the corn and remove the husk from the ear.Use your fingers to remove the rest of the husk.Remove the corn from the water with your hands.The majority of the silks should be removed.

Step 14: The steaming basket will hold the corn.

Step 15: It is warm to serve warm.

Step 16: Place the oven in the middle of the room at a temperature of 220 degrees Celsius.

As the oven preheats, remove the husks and silks from each ear of corn.Use your hands to remove the husk from the corn.Remove the broken stem from the ear.You can remove the rest of the husk with your fingers.To remove silks from corn cobs, rinse them under running water and scrub with your hands.Dry with paper towels.

Step 17: Place butter on the ears.

If you want, you can add salt and pepper.Use a lot of butter.Spread melted butter over each ear.

Step 18: Wrap each ear up.

Each ear must be wrapped with foil.If you are worried about butter leaking out from the aluminum foil, place a flat baking sheet or jelly-roll pan beneath the wrapped ears of corn to catch any dripping butter.

Step 19: For between 20 and 30 minutes.

It will take 20 minutes to cook the corn, but larger ears need as much as 30 minutes.The corn should be placed on the middle rack of the oven.

Step 20: Go and serve.

Carefully remove the aluminum foil after the corn has rested for 2 to 5 minutes.Once they are cool, serve them.

Step 21: Water can be boiled in a saucepan.

Measure out your frozen corn.If you want to add salt to the boiling water, it's not necessary.The corn doesn't need to be frozen.canned corn could be used instead of frozen corn.The amount of time required to boil canned corn is less than the amount needed to cook frozen corn.Adding canned corn to the boiling water will cause it to be drained.

Step 22: Bring the corn to the water.

The water should come up to a boil if the boiling stops.The heat should be reduced to medium-low after it returns to a rolling boil.

Step 23: Put the food in the cooker and cover it.

The corn should be cooked for 5 to 10 minutes.Once finished, drain.For 1 to 3 minutes, canned corn should be boiled.The corn should be hot and tender.

Step 24: You can serve it as you please.

After cooking corn kernels, do not refreeze them.You can mix cooked corn with butter, salt, and black pepper.parsley can be used according to your tastes.

Step 25: Water can be steamed in a steamer.

The lower part of the steamer should be filled with water and heat, on the stove, over medium heat until the water starts to boil.The water should not be boiled.Water can get into the steamer basket if it's not filled high enough.If you don't have a steamer, you can use a stockpot and metal colander.The stockpot has a lip, so make sure the colander fits over it.

Step 26: The steamer basket contains frozen corn kernels.

The kernels should be spread into a single layer.In a shorter amount of time, canned corn kernels can be used.Once finished, they may be soggier.You don't need to thaw frozen corn kernels.

Step 27: For 9 to 10 minutes, you can cook.

Allow the corn to steam without covering it.Once finished, drain.The kernels can be steam for 3 or 4 minutes.

Step 28: Put it to use.

Butter and salt can be used to serve steamed corn.

Step 29: Popcorn can be put in a microwave-safe dish.

Spread the frozen corn in the dish.There are differences in the cooking method and length of canned corn kernels.It's not necessary to thaw frozen corn prior to cooking.

Step 30: 2 to 4% of water is added.

The water should be put into the corn.This step is only needed if the corn is frozen.You don't need to add water if you use canned corn.

Step 31: Wrap the dish around.

To poke a few holes in the plastic wrap, use a fork.Plastic wrap is safe to use in the microwave.The cover on the dish could be used instead of the plastic wrap.Make sure that the cover on the dish is not too loose.

Step 32: For 4 to 5 minutes, microwave.

Only microwave the dish for 1 to 2 minutes if you use canned corn.The length of time depends on how much power your microwave has.A lower-powered microwave will need more time than a higher powered microwave.Stop the microwave early if you hear popping sounds as the corn cooks.

Step 33: Prepare and serve.

Season the corn with butter, salt, and pepper after draining the cooking liquid.

Step 34: Remove the tip of the corn ear.

The corn should be soaked in tap water for about an hour.

Step 35: Prepare the grill while they're soaking.

For an hour of cooking, add enough coals.

Step 36: The corn should be in the husks.

Allow the husks to char for about an hour.

Step 37: The husks are removed.

Step 38: You can add butter, salt and pepper to taste.

Immediately serve.
