It's a good idea to permanently destroy Facebook Messages.
You can learn how to get rid of Facebook messages from both the website and the Messenger app.
Step 1: You can open the Facebook Messenger.
There is a blue message bubble and a white lightning bolt in the app.If you don't have a Messenger account, you can type in your phone number and enter your password.
Step 2: The Home tab is where you'll find it.
There is a house-shaped icon in the bottom left corner of the screen.The button in the top left corner of the screen is where Messenger opens a conversation.
Step 3: To remove the conversation, scroll to the bottom.
You may have to scroll down several times if it's an old conversation.
Step 4: Swipe away from the conversation.
There is a row of options on the right side of the conversation box.
Step 5: Go to the next page.
There is a red button on the far right side of the screen.
Step 6: Go to Conversation and remove it.
This option is at the top of the pop-up window.You can permanently remove the conversation from your message history by doing that.
Step 7: It is possible to open the Facebook Messenger.

Step 12: When prompted, you can remove the conversation.
You can remove the conversation from your history on Facebook.
Step 13: You can open the website on Facebook.
You can open your News Feed by logging into Facebook.If you don't have a Facebook account, you can enter your email address or phone number into the top-right corner of the screen.
Step 14: You can click the Messenger icon.
It looks like a message bubble with a lightning bolt inside, in the row of options on the right side of the Facebook page.
Step 15: Click here to view it in Messenger.
The Messenger drop-down menu has a link at the bottom.The Messenger utility can be opened by Clicking it.
Step 16: To remove the conversation, scroll to the bottom.
You can find your conversations on the left side of the page.
Step 17: You can hover your mouse over the message.
There is a gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the message.
Step 18: Click on the icon.
You can open a drop-down menu by doing that.
Step 19: Click to remove it.
It's in the middle of the menu.
Step 20: When prompted, click deletion.
You can see this option on the pop-up window.Clicking it will remove your conversation from your history.
