It's possible to install the messaging service, called WhatsApp.

Step 9: You can type in your phone number

The text field is in the middle of the page.

Step 10: When asked, tap OK.

You will receive a text message with a verification code.

Step 11: Go to the phone's messages app.

There is a new text message here.

Step 12: The new message can be tapped.

The text should say "You can simply tap on this link to verify your device" in the body of the text.

Step 13: The six-digit code can be typed into the app.

If you type correctly, this will confirm your phone's identity and lead you to the account creation page.

Step 14: You can enter your name and photo.

If you use a different name, a photo will help identify you to other contacts.You can restore your chat history if you've downloaded the app before.You can use your name and picture on Facebook.

Step 15: You can tap next.

It is in the right corner of the screen.You can begin using the app at your leisure after installing it on your phone.

Step 16: You can open the App Store.

The app has a white "A" on it.You will most likely see this on the Home Screen.

Step 17: Search using the tap.

There is a button at the bottom of the screen.

Step 18: The "Search" bar is on the bottom of the screen.

This is at the top of the screen.

Step 19: To find it, type it into the search bar and tap it.

There is a button in the bottom right corner.

Step 20: Go to the right of the messaging service.

Step 21: When prompted, tap INSTALL.

The button is in the same place.

Step 22: If you were asked, enter your Apple ID password.

If you log into your Apple ID in the App Store recently, you won't have to do this.If your phone supports Touch ID, you can use it.

Step 23: Wait for your download to finish then open it.

It is to the right of the messaging service.If you open it, you can proceed with setting it up.

Step 24: Don't allow for any pop-up windows.

If you open these windows, you'll be asked if you want to allow WhatsApp access to your contacts and whether or not it can send notifications to you.

Step 25: You can agree and then continue.

It is at the bottom of the screen.

Step 26: You can type in your phone number.

The text field is in the middle of the screen, while the top-right corner is where your phone number is.

Step 27: When prompted, tap Yes.

The confirmation code will be sent to your phone.

Step 28: Go to the Home button and open messages.

The app has a white speech bubble.

Step 29: Open the text message.

In the text's body, it will say "YourWhatsApp code is [six-digit number]".

Step 30: You can type the six-digit code into the application.

You will be able to finish customizing your profile if you do so correctly.

Step 31: You need to enter your name.

You can type in your name with the "Your name" text field in the middle of the screen.You can add a picture to the page.To restore your chat history, you can tap in the top-right corner of the screen.If you've used it before on this phone, this will apply.

Step 32: Wait a second and tap done.

Now that your phone's messaging service is set up, you're ready to use it!

Step 33: Go to the internet on a computer.

It is at www.whatsapp.com.You can get the desktop version from this site.

Step 34: Click Mac or Windows PC if you want to.

The option is at the bottom of the page.

Step 35: The button is green

It is on the right side of the page.Clicking this button will prompt you to download the setup file, but you may have to choose a download location first.

Step 36: Double-click the setup file if you want it to finish.

It will be in the "Downloads" folder on your computer.

Step 37: Wait for the service to finish installing.

Once it's done, you'll be able to see the icon on your desktop, which is a white phone on a green background.There is a white window with a green illustration.
