You can learn how to use a program on a computer to download videos.There used to be a program called Free YouTube Downloader, but it wasn't supported on Mac or Windows before Windows 7.If you want to accomplish the same goal, you can use a program called Any Video Converter.
Step 1: Go to the Any Video Converter website.
Click the AVC Freeware link that will appear near the top of the search results if you type any video into a search engine.
Step 2: Click to download your operating system.
There are two download buttons at the bottom of the column.Click the one with the Windows logo for Windows computers, or the Finder icon for a Mac.
Step 3: Wait for the download to finish.
You can continue once the setup file is on your computer.You need to save the file before you can download it.
Step 4: You need to install Any Video Converter.
If necessary, opt out of any additional software.If you double-click the avc-setup file, you will be taken to the installation page.When the installation is complete, click Finish.If you double-click the avc_free_mac file, you will get a prompt to verify the software.
Step 5: It's possible to open any video converting program.
There is a blue globe with a green iPod on it.You can download a video from YouTube once the AVC is open.
Step 6: It's possible to open the page.
You can watch a video in a web browser.
Step 7: You can search for a video.
Click the search bar at the top of the page and type in the video you want to download.
Step 8: There is a video you want to see.
You can download the video by clicking on it.It will open.
Step 9: The video's URL can be found here.
The address is in the bar at the top of the browser window.It will look like this.
Step 10: Go to the URL that was selected.
Command and C can be pressed at the same time on your computer's keyboard.The URL will be copied.
Step 11: The Any Video Converter window should be open.
Click the window to bring the icon to the front.
Step 12: The Add URL(s) tab is where you can add a URL.
It is at the top of the window.A window will open.Click at the top of the window to download video on Mac.
Step 13: Click for more information.
There is a green icon in the window.There is a text box at the top of the window.The URL can be added in the bottom-right of the window on Mac.
Step 14: You can paste your copied URL.
At the same time, click the text box and then use the keyboard to type.The text box will show your copied URL.Go to the video URL on Mac and click OK.
Step 15: Click here to begin the download.The button is at the bottom of the page.
Your download will start.Click the box next to the format you want to download the video in, then click OK.
Step 16: Wait until the download is done.
You can see the progress of the download by looking at the blue bar.In your computer's Videos folder, you can find the videos in AVC.
