Step 1: You can find, download, and print a crown template.

Step 2: The template should be cut out.
There is a pair of scissors.Carefully cut out the template after following the lines.Line up the edges of the template and glue them together.Assist and supervise with this step if you are doing this project with kids.
Step 3: Cut out the crown after tracing the template onto paper.
You can use cardstock, cardboard, or even poster paper.The side that won't be showing when you wear it is the wrong side.The template should be on the piece of paper.To trace the template, use a pencil.Remove the template and cut the crown.If you want to use thinner paper such as wrapping paper, glue it down onto a stiff paper first.If you want your crown to be a special color such as silver or gold, you need to paint it first.Once the paint is dry, trace it and then cut it out.
Step 4: The crown should be reinforced.
Measure the crown's length.Cut a strip of fabric or cardboard that is the length of the crown and 1 to 1.5 inches wide.The crown should be lined up with the bottom edge of the strip.Attach the strip to the crown with glue.The crown can be ripped if the cardboard or fabric is not reinforced.Allow the glue to dry.
Step 5: The crown needs to be decorated.

A small bouquet can be formed by combining 4 or 6 stems of flowers.The mini arrangement needs to look good from multiple angles.Wrap your arrangement around the flowers.Wrap the tape around the stems.There are 6 to 7 mini bouquets.The mini arrangements can look different.You can put together unique combinations.
Step 11: Wrap the first arrangement around the twine.
The piece of twine has loops on it's ends.The stem should be located at the base of the left loop.Wrap a piece of floral wire around the stems of a small bouquet.You have to stretch the floral tape to make it sticky.
Step 12: Wrap the flowers.
From left to right, slide the stems of the next mini arrangement under the flowers.Wrap a piece of floral wire around the stems of a small bouquet.Continue adding mini arrangements until you reach the right loop.
Step 13: A piece of twine or ribbon can be strung through the loops.
A piece of twine or ribbon can be cut to 2 feet.To tie a loose bow, thread the ribbon or twine through the two loops.You can adjust the crown's size by placing it on your head.After adjusting the crown, tie the ribbon or twine in a double knot.Enjoy your crown!
Step 14: You need to gather your supplies.
You will need wire cutters, floral wire, and floral tape for this project.You will need to purchase silk flowers.You can pick any kind of silk flowers that you want.There are many great options, such as roses, baby's breath, peonies, and daisies.Go with a seasonal theme.For a Fall-themed crown, use lots of reds, oranges, and yellows.Try to include some flowers.Go with a holiday theme.If you want to create a Halloween themed crown, consider using dark purple and black flowers.There are roses, mums, and dahlias.
Step 15: Attach the crown to your head.
The floral wire needs to be untangled.Wrap the wire around your head.The wire should overlap by 3 to 4 inches at the end.Remove the wire crown from your head.Wrap the wire around the frame.Wrap a piece of floral tape around the seam to hide it, and to prevent it from catching your hair.
Step 16: The silk flowers have to be prepared.
You can get a pair of wire and silk flowers.The heads of the flowers should be cut off.The greens and flowers should be left in bunches.Some of the larger flowers might be a good place to save the leaves.These can be great.The silk flower stems should not be cut with scissors.A good pair of scissors can be ruined by wires in silk flowers.
Step 17: Attach the silk flowers to the wire crown.
Wrap each flower around the wire crown with floral tape.The counter is clockwise around the circle.The flower's head should be on top of the stem.All of the flowers should be facing in the same direction.Place the largest flowers in the front, and use smaller flowers towards the end.Large and small flowers are alternated.There are pieces of ribbon at the back of the crown.
Step 18: The crown should be worn.
Put the crown on your head.The silk floral head piece will last a long time.
