Make your own homemade sauce.

The sauce is made from butter, cheese and heavy cream.You can make your own fresh version of the sauce with a few ingredients and little time at the stove, but you can't buy it in cans, jars or refrigerated containers.You can make your own Alfredo sauce by gathering your ingredients, cooking it and serving it.

Step 2: Pour 1 cup.

The heavy whipping cream should be put into a bowl or measuring cup.

Step 4: You should have salt and pepper with you.

Depending on your taste, the amount you add to the sauce or the dish will be different.

Step 5: Put the butter in the saucepan.

Don't let the butter brown or burn it.The butter in the sauce is white, so keep an eye on it.

Step 6: As you pour the cream into the saucepan, stir the butter with a wooden spoon.

Step 7: As it cooks, add some salt and pepper to the mixture.

Step 8: The mixture should be brought to a boil.

If it begins to boil, reduce the heat and allow it to cook.

Step 9: The sauce needs to be stirred with a wooden spoon while it cooks.

Step 10: Remove the saucepan from the heat.

The cheese will clump or get stringy if you add it while the pan is still receiving heat from the stove.

Step 11: Continue to stir the mixture with the spoon when you add the parmesan cheese.

It should be incorporated into the sauce.

Step 12: Add a little more salt or pepper to the pan if you prefer.

Step 13: Throw the sauce with pasta.

Fettuccine Alfredo is the most popular dish.You can use any pasta you want.

Step 14: Use the sauce to make a white pizza.

You can add whatever you want.

Step 15: Put the chicken, shrimp or meatballs in a dish.

Even as bite-sized appetizers, these can be added to pasta or served on their own.

Step 16: Put the sauce on the vegetables.
