You need to complete Settling Elaaden in order to unlocked the mission.You will be able to talk to the outpost leader when you do that.
You have to go to the outpost leader when you set up an outpost.The exact location of this character is marked in the picture above.There is a location where you can challenge a Remnant Architect.
Do your best to avoid open spaces.There are a lot of environmental covers that you can hide behind.Some of the Architect's attacks can hurt you even if you are hiding behind a cover, so don't try to get through the entire battle with the giant robot just staying behind one cover.Two Architect's special attacks are throwing multiple grenades and launching a wave of energy.Fortunately, both are signalized whenever the boss prepares to perform them, so if you don't get distracted you will have enough time to escape them (when the enemy is about to attack, you should quickly move away from your current position).If your character has a clocking ability, you can use it instead of covering it.
If you want to give orders to your companions during the combat, you should point them to certain parts of the Architect's body.If any of your companions get knocked down, try to revive them, but do this in between of the Architect's attacks, so not to get killed yourself while helping out a companion.
The wires by the Architect's limbs are weak.Attack those and try to make your shots count so you don't waste supplies.
You can shoot at wires on the Architect's head if you hurt his limbs.Use your most powerful weapons and skills to destroy those wires.
The duel with the Architect is more challenging because of two things.The first thing is that the boss summons lesser Remnants, the strongest ones that will appear in this battle are the Nullifiers, flank them or attack with anti-shield attacks.You must stop attacking the Architect at that point.
While attacking ordinary Remnats you should avoid Architect's attacks because he may use his most powerful attacks.
The Architect backs away when you destroy one of his limbs.You don't have to use NOMAD when that happens.You can follow the Architect on foot and wait for him to take a new position.
To win the fight with the Architect, you must reduce his head's health energy to zero.Press the interaction button when the boss dies in order to establish a connection.This will end the battle.
You will notice the Architect when you return to Elaaden.You can acquire Remnant Research Data if you investigate it.
Return to the leader of the outpost who gave you the mission.The mission is over after a short conversation.
