NBA League Pass is available in virtual reality with games in venues.

NBA Digital, co-managed by the NBA and Turner Sports, and NextVR announced the live virtual reality game schedule.NBA League Pass subscribers will be able to watch a top game each week during the regular season.

NBA Digital and NextVR announced an extension of their partnership, which will feature weekly immersive, 3D game broadcasts, full game replays, highlights, and other on-demand content.NBA League Pass games will include 2D streaming with NextVR Screening Room, a virtual reality environment with games appearing on a theater-sized screen.

For the second year in a row, the parties will distribute NBA League Pass virtual reality within the U.S., where fans can connect with friends and share the experience with a community of thousands.

Mike Chioditti, NBA Senior Director, New Media Distribution, said that NextVR will continue to provide a unique courtside experience.Fans will be able to enjoy NBA basketball in virtual reality through a partnership with Oculus.

NextVR live games will be available as part of an NBA League Pass subscription or through a stand-alone VR or Single Game package, which can be purchased directly through the NBA or participating video distributors.There is a free NextVR app for every major virtual reality platform.
