There are lots of ways you can find new friends on Facebook.You can browse through your friends and add them to your circle.You can also use a friend finder on Facebook.It is possible to find friends using a web browser or the Facebook app.
Step 1: Go to the social networking site Facebook.
You can visit the home page from any web browser.
Step 2: You have to log in.
Log in using your Facebook account and password.The login fields can be found on the upper right corner of the page.Click the button to log in.
Step 3: Look at your friends.
If you click on your name, you will be taken to your wall.Click the Friends tab, right below your cover photo, and you will be brought to your friends page on Facebook.
Step 4: There is a friends finder on Facebook.

Step 5: Review friends that were suggested to you.
Before you start looking for new friends, you may want to check out the suggestions left by your friends on Facebook.To see the recommended friends, look for the "Review Your Friend Suggestion" section.If you want to add someone you know, click the button next to his/her name.Before you two become official Facebook friends, your friend has to accept your request.
Step 6: You should respond to your friend requests.
The people on Facebook who have sent you friend requests that you haven't answered yet are in the next section.Click the button next to his name if you want to add him.Become an official Facebook friend.
Step 7: You may be able to see people you know.
The last section contains the people Facebook thinks you may know based on your friends.As you get to the bottom, the list can be very long.If you want to add someone you know, click the button next to his/her name.Before you two become official Facebook friends, your friend has to accept your request.
Step 8: There are friends to search for.
You can use the "Search for Friends" filters on the right panel to find people you may know.After you enter the filters, the list of people will be updated.Enter the name of the friend you are looking for in the Name field.To find friends via location, enter the city or cities for either hometown or current location.Enter the names of possible mutual friends of the friend you are looking for.Enter the employers of the friends you are looking for in the Employer field.
Step 9: The app should be launched.
You can find the Facebook app on your mobile device.It has the app icon with the Facebook logo.To launch it, tap on it.
Step 10: Log in.
You will be asked to log in if you haven't done so in a while.Go to the given fields and enter your email address and password.
Step 11: You can find friends on the page.

Step 14: You can search for friends.
If you already know the name, email, or phone number of the friend you are looking for, you can do a search to see if he is on Facebook.There is a button on the menu bar.There is a search box at the top.You can enter a name, email, or phone number to find your friend.There is a list of people matching your search parameters.Go through it.If you want to add someone you know, tap the button next to his/her name.Before you two become official Facebook friends, your friend has to accept your request.
