You can learn how to prevent anyone from seeing your date of birth on Facebook.Birthday privacy settings can be changed on the Facebook website and mobile app.
Step 1: Go to Facebook.
You can go to Facebook in your browser.If you log in, Facebook will open your News Feed page.In the top-right corner of the page, type in your email address and password and click.
Step 2: Click the name tab.
It can be found in the top-right section of the Facebook page.You can open your personal Facebook page by doing that.There is a small image of your current profile picture in the name tab.
Step 3: You can click about.
Your cover photo is near the top of your profile page.
Step 4: Click Contact and Basic Information.
It is on the left side of the page.
Step 5: hover over "Birth Date" if you want to scroll down to the "Basic info".
Under the "Websites and Social Links" area is the Basic info section.The option will appear if you hover over "Birth Date".
Step 6: Click to change it.
It is to the right of your birth date.Privacy options will be displayed in the "Birth Date" section.
Step 7: You can click on the person-shaped icon.
The option is to the right of your birth date's month and year line.A menu will appear.
Step 8: Click on me.
You can hide your birthday from your profile.If you want to hide the year in which you were born, click the person-shaped icon to the right and then click on the drop-down menu.
Step 9: Click to save changes.
Your birth date will not appear on your profile.
Step 10: You can open Facebook.
The Facebook app icon looks like a white "f" on a dark-blue background.If you are a member of Facebook, this will open your News Feed.If you don't have a Facebook account, you have to enter your email address and password.
Step 11: You can tap on your profile icon.
The person-shaped silhouette at the bottom of the screen is known as the person silhouette.You can open your Facebook profile page by doing that.If you don't see this icon, you can tap the icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to see the menu.
Step 12: You can tap the profile you want to modify.
The tab below your cover photo is on your profile page.
Step 13: You can scroll all the way down.
There is a link at the bottom of the page.You can open a list of your profile information.
Step 14: The heading is "Basic info".
Near the middle of the page is where you'll find it.
Step 15: You can tap on the edit.
The option is to the right of the heading.
Step 16: You can use the "Privacy" icon.
There is a person-shaped icon to the right of your "Birthday" at the top of the page.A menu will appear.
Step 17: Only me.
The drop-down menu has this option in it.The month and day of your birth are hidden from your profile.If you don't see the drop-down menu, tap in the resulting menu.
Step 18: You should hide your birth year.
If you don't want people to see your birth year, tap the "Privacy" icon to the right of it, then tap in the drop-down menu.You might have to tap before you see the option.
Step 19: To save, scroll down and tap.
There is a button at the bottom of the page.You can hide your birthday from your Facebook profile by doing this.
