A resident of the Republic of Ireland is someone who has been in Ireland for six months prior to the issue date of your policy.We can't provide cover for people who are not from the Republic of Ireland.

All insured persons at the time of taking out this policy or booking the trip are excluded.Section A is Cancellation or Curtailment Charges, Section B is Emergency Medical and Other Expenses, and Section C is Hospital Benefit.You have received a terminal prognosis for any medical condition.Any medical condition for which you are receiving or are on a waiting list for or have the knowledge of the need for surgery, treatment or investigation at a hospital, clinic or nursing home.If you have a medical condition that a doctor has advised you not to travel for, you still travel.Expenses incurred due to the discovery of other medical condition during and/or complications arising from these procedures are included.You are not taking the recommended treatment or prescribed medication for a medical condition.Any health requirements stipulated by the carrier, their handling agents or any other public transport provider are against your travel.You were awaiting the results of investigations prior to your departure from Ireland.Section A - Cancellation or Curtailment Charges and Section B - Emergency Medical will not apply to your close relative or travel companion at the time of booking or taking out the policy.Any medical condition for which a close relative or travelling companion are receiving or on a waiting list for or have the knowledge of the need for surgery, treatment or investigation at a hospital, clinic or nursing home.Refer to the general exclusions on page 5 for any medical condition for which a close relative or travelling companion have not had a diagnosis.

If you did not know at the time of taking out your insurance that you had a condition, you will not need to declare it to the medical screening company until your policy is due for renewal.

When your policy is renewed, you need to contact the medical screening company to discuss cover for medical conditions.

If you are unfortunate enough to have lost or stolen items while on holiday, you must report it to the police within 24 hours.

All claims must be reported to the claims department within 31 days after an insured event.You have to forward original documentation when you claim.You will have to forward a copy of your certificate.You can find contact details for the claims department in your policy.

You have to pay for the claim.This is charged per person per claim and deducted from the settlement amount.

You can cancel your policy within 14 days of receipt of the policy documents, if you contact us at info@multitrip.com.If you have not travelled, no claim has been made or is intended to be made, and you haven't used your insurance to get a Visa, the premium will be returned to you.From the date of issue, the policy will be canceled.
