Plants are placed without holes.

Plants are a great addition to any living space, but if you don't display them in unique ways, they can look boring after a while. One of the best ways to mix it up is to hang your plants from the ceiling with a hook.Your landlord can deduct money from your security deposit. It's not an ideal option if you don't have a drill or are not good with power tools. If the drill isn't an option for you, there are other ways to hang plants without punching holes.

Step 1: You can hang them from the ceiling with hooks.

The command hooks are perfect for ceiling hanging. These hooks can be purchased from an office supply store.Stick the back against the ceiling with the backing off.If you want to hang it up, slide the hook or twine on your pot over the loop of the adjustable hook.If you want to hang them from a portion of the wall that doesn't have any drywall, you can use standard command hooks.

Step 2: If you want to hang plants without holes, you can use a pot.

There are pots that you can use to hang your plant from a window.Unfortunately, you can only hang a plant from a cup, but it's a great option that won't put any holes in the wall.Since they can pull the cup off of the glass over time, it's not a good solution for plants that weigh more than 5 pounds.Hanging plants from the glass is a great way to create a modern look in your home.

Step 3: You can hang your plant in the air with a magnetic hook and wall magnet.

A magnetic hook is a magnetic plate with a hook attached to it.Attach the hook to an air duct, metal fixture or air vent.To hang the plant from the ceiling, loop it over the hook. You may be able to attach them to the wall if you have a strong magnetic hook.Magnetic pots are available on the market, but most of them have magnets on their side, so you can hang them on your wall or fridge. If you want to put plants on the wall, these are a great option.

Step 4: Plants can be suspended from a window frame.

The tension rods are used to hold shower curtains or clothes in a closet.Pick up a tension rod and hold the bar inside of a window frame. The pads on the ends of the rod are pushing against the frame.Plants can be hung on it from the top of the window. Many people think the tension rod is just part of your blinds, but it is a great way to hang plants because it can handle a fair bit of weight. If you have plants that are hanging from rope but don't have hooks, slide the rope over the rod and extend it inside of the window frame.

Step 5: For a modern option, attach C-clamps to the walls.

If you have an open floorplan, arches, or open doorways, wrap the jaws of a C-clamp around a thin portion of drywall.Turn the handle clockwise until the pads on the jaw are firmly attached to the wall. You can hang your plant from a portion of the bar that is sticking out at the end.If your home has a kind of industrial vibe, this is a really cool option.Strong fixture built into your wall can be used.Don't tighten it all the way.Once you feel some pressure from the handle, stop. You can punch a hole in the wall if you continue to tighten and turn the handle.

Step 6: You can hang your plants on the bars by attaching a trellis.

A metal or wood grid is used to display plants.Purchase two command hooks. At your local gardening store, you can buy a trellis.Get some pots with built-in hooks for hanging and hang the top bars of the trellis on the command hooks.Attach the hooks to the structure by looping them over the bars. The other solutions are a little more work than this one.The end result is stunning. If you prefer, you can lean against the wall.If you don't want to put command hooks on your wall, this is the best way to do it.

Step 7: Plants can be hung from unused doors using over-the-door hooks.

Plants can be hung from the top of the door if you put over-the-door hooks over it.The hooks are strong enough to hold medium-sized plants in most cases. To give your pots room to hang, be sure to get over-the-door hooks where the hooking portion sticks out at least 4–6 inches (10–15 cm).

Step 8: Plants can be hung on windows if you have lightweight pots with cups.

There are several types of pots that come with cups.Transfer any plant that likes well-drained soil and lots of light into the pots.Attach the cups to the window where you want to display your plants.People don't typically put plants against a window, so this is a unique option. If you want to do something different or have large windows, it is a great choice. You can hang plants on air ducts, fixtures, or your refrigerator with magnetic versions of these pots.
