Post a picture on Facebook.

You can learn how to post a Gif to Facebook in two ways: as a comment and a status.You can use the mobile app or the desktop site to do it.

Step 1: It's a good idea to open up Facebook.

The app has a white "f" on it.If you're already logging into Facebook on your phone or tablets, this will open the News Feed.If you don't have a Facebook account, you need to enter your email and phone number.

Step 2: To comment on the post, go to it.

You can find the post by scrolling through your News Feed or using the search bar at the top of the screen.

Step 3: If you want to comment, tap it.

Step 4: You can make a Gif.

It is on the right side of the comment box.A box with popular Gif options will be brought up.

Step 5: There is a search for a Gif.

You can either scroll left or right through the available GIFs, or type a phrase into the search bar below the GIFs to find a specific one.

Step 6: You can tap your preferred Gif.

This will post your comment.

Step 7: Go to Facebook.

You can go to Facebook in your browser.If you're already a member of Facebook, this will load your News Feed.If you don't already have a password for Facebook, you need to enter your email address and phone number.

Step 8: You can comment on the post.

You can find the post by scrolling through your News Feed or using the search bar at the top of the screen.

Step 9: To leave a comment, scroll down to the box.

It is below the post.If there are many comments already, you will have to click to bring up the comment box.

Step 10: Click on the image.

It is on the right side of the comment box.

Step 11: There is a search for a Gif.

You can scroll up or down through the available GIFs, or you can type a phrase into the search bar above the GIFs to find a specific one.

Step 12: Click to see a picture.

This will post it as a comment.

Step 13: You can open a mobile browser.

There isn't a way to post a Gif as a status, but you can copy one from elsewhere.

Step 14: You can find a Gif to post.

You can review the results by entering "GIF" into your browser.To narrow your search, you can use a specific word after "GIF".After searching for an option, most browsers have an image-only filter that you can use.This will help narrow your search.

Step 15: You can copy the image.

Wait until a pop-up menu appears, then tap the option.

Click the option if you want to right-click.This will make a copy of the Gif.On computers with no right or left mouse button, you can usually press the trackpad button with two fingers.

Step 24: You can go to Facebook's website.

Step 25: Click to see the status.

"What's on your mind, [name])?" is the text box at the top of the Facebook page.It was written in it.

Step 26: Go to the status box and paste your Gif.

You can either press or right-click the box to do this.Click the menu item if you want to press Command+V.

Step 27: Go ahead and click Post if you don't see your GIF.

The status is in the bottom-right corner.You will be able to post your Gif.If your option copied a link into the status box, you should remove the link text before you post.
