QuietFloor Plus is a soundproof acoustic floor underlay.

QuietFloor Plus is a superb and improved soundproof underlay designed to improve both impact and airborne noise through nuisance floors. It is suitable for application beneath carpets, laminate flooring and engineered wood flooring.

This is the fastest and most effective acoustic underlay on the market.Quietfloor Plus is cost-effective.Using this product increases airborne sound insulation and reduces impact noise transmission so much that there is no need for the installation of false floors; this not only increases minimum ceiling height but it also reduces labour and materials costs considerably.QuietFloor Plus is the easiest way to introduce a reduction in noise levels with the minimum of disruption. The noise reduction can be enhanced by using our Acoustic Quilt or AMW in the cavity space, as it is a quick fix solution and does reduce most domestic noise dramatically. This is a good solution.

The laminated composition provides maximum performance for minimum thickness and combines excellent sound insulation with all the qualities of a good carpet underlay. It is easy to install and cut.

A recycled layer of sound absorbing chip foam is sandwiched between a top and bottom mineral loaded mat.The sound coming through the floor is damped by the base layer of barrier mat and the sound absorbing chip foam core dramatically absorbs and reduces impact noise.

Quietfloor is made from an acoustic foam that does not oxidize over time, unlike some other foams that are normally used in these applications. The recycled nature of the sound absorbing foam makes the colour unlikely to be the same as shown in our photographs.

QuietFloor Plus can be used to glue down concrete floors to meet the new Approved Document E Building Regulations for impact noise.

It should be applied to the steps and risers of communal stairs to comply with noise control requirements.

The packing strips should be placed around the edges of the floor next to the wall if Quietfloor is used as an acoustic underlay. These are 1000 x 30 x 9mm thick strips and are packing strips to make sure they are at the correct height for fitting the carpet.Extra trimming may be required due to the flexibility of the product.
