Remove wax from concrete.
The wax sticks quickly when it comes in contact with concrete.Don't worry, it will be removed if you have what you need.
Step 1: You can rent a steamer.
Large hardware/ home improvement stores and some supermarkets have such appliances.
Step 2: Wait until the wax starts to melt.
Step 3: You should keep steaming until all of the wax has melted.
It should be wiped with an absorbent material.Continue until all the wax is removed.As required, repeat.
Step 4: Go back to the commercial steamer.
Step 5: A terry towel rag is placed over the wax stain.
At the ready are a bottle of mineral spirits and a bucket of detergent and water.The towel rag will absorb more wax than the paper.
Step 6: The iron needs to be hot.
Step 7: The paper is covered with iron.
The wax will melt.
Step 8: The heat and paper should be removed.
Use a paper towel or rags to mop up the melted wax.
Step 9: The mineral spirits should be removed with the detergent and warm water.
Allow it to dry and then mop it up.
Step 10: If need be, repeat.
Step 11: Prepare the detergents.
A bucket of warm water and a bottle of mineral spirits are all you need.
Step 12: To remove as much wax as possible, use a scraper or a putty knife.
This should be thrown into the bin.
Step 13: There is a terry towel rag over the wax.
This will reduce the amount of mopping you need to do.If you don't have a towel, you can still heat the wax directly.
Step 14: The hair dryer should be set to its hottest setting.
To melt it, hold over the wax.To melt the most wax, go over it as much as you can.Lift the terry toweling rag to make sure you're getting it all.
Step 15: The melted wax can be wiped up with a rag or a kitchen paper towel.
The mineral spirits should be cleaned with detergent and warm water.Allow the air to dry.
Step 16: If necessary repeat.
