The child of Mexican immigrants was born on June 24, 1987 in San Jose.Her father and mother were both immigrants to the United States.Meza became more involved with her music as she got older.She began performing with her grandfather's mariachi band when she was 6 years old.She was exposed to hip hop when she moved to San Diego.She started freestyling with her friends when she was a teenager.She attended San Diego Mesa College to study to become a social worker after graduating high school.She dropped out of college at the age of 19 to pursue a career as a rapper.She was named after Disney's character Snow White.Initially using the name "Snow White", and then adding "the Product" and changing it to "snow Tha Product".After recording a number of songs in Spanish, she caught the attention of a Mexican artist.They recorded a song called "Alguien," which became popular in Mexico, and appeared on the album Fotosntesis.[13][11]
