Samgyupsal is good to eat.

Samgyupsal is usually eaten for lunch or dinner in Korea.It is a fun dish to eat because of the process of grilling the meat right at the dining table, and the personalized wraps that are usually accompanied by vegetables and other items.This dish is best enjoyed with a group of friends.

Step 1: Place garlic in a bowl.

Depending on their size, this should be about 3 cloves of garlic.The smaller they are, the better they will mix in with the other liquid ingredients.To make mincing easier, crush the garlic cloves with a knife.

Step 2: Combine soybean paste, red chili pepper paste and sesame oil.

The bowl of garlic should be covered with a mixture of soybean paste, red chili pepper paste and sesame oil.When they reach an even consistency, stir the ingredients together.If you want to thin it out a bit, you can add 15 liters of water.All of these ingredients can be found in the Asian section of a supermarket or a Korean store.

Step 3: The sesame seeds should be stir in with the sauce.

They should be mixed with the other ingredients.The sauce is ready to be enjoyed with your food.Until the meat is cooked, set the sauce aside.

Step 4: On the burner, place the grill pan or frying pan.

If you eat at a Korean restaurant, they will give you a burner and grill pan at your table.You can use a grill pan on the stove if you are making Samgyupsal at home.Adding pork fat or sesame oil to the pan will help prevent the meat from sticking while cooking.

Step 5: The pork belly should be cut into thin strips before cooking.

The pork belly will come to your table if you are at a restaurant.If you want to save time in the kitchen, you can have a butcher cut the strips for you.The pork belly should not be cooked.

Step 6: Place the pork belly in the pan with tongs.

Put as many pieces of pork belly as you can fit in the pan.When it starts to turn brown, cook it for 3 minutes per side.When you see that the side on the grill is starting to look brown, use tongs to check how cooked the pork belly is.The amount of time it takes to cook pork depends on the temperature of your grill.You should only flip the pork once in order to retain the juices and not dry it out.

Step 7: The pork belly can be cut into small pieces with scissors.

Pick up the pieces of pork belly one by one with tongs and slice them into small bite-sized square pieces with scissors.The pieces should be about 2 inches long.

Step 8: Continue cooking the pieces of pork by placing them back into the pan.

As you cut them with the scissors, you can let them drop back into the pan.The pork belly should be cooked for 3 more minutes per side.If the pork belly starts to burn, turn the burner heat down.

Step 9: Put garlic and white onions in the pan to cook with pork.

Put in 3-4 cloves of garlic and 3-4 slices of white onion to cook the pork in the pan for 3-6 minutes.It's up to you if you want to add more.It's all about having fun in the kitchen.To combine all the flavors of garlic, onion, and pork fat, use tongs to mix the vegetables in with the pieces of pork belly.

Step 10: When the pork is golden-brown, remove the garlic, onions, and pork.

Once the pork is golden brown, it is ready to eat.If you want to serve it in a bowl or plate, remove everything from the pan.The temperature of your burner can affect the time it takes to cook pork.If you want to cook more pork belly, turn off the burner at this point.It's fun to grill pork with your friends.

Step 11: Put a piece of meat in a leaf of green lettuce.

Pick up a slice of grilled meat with tongs or chopsticks after putting a piece of lettuce in your left hand.Make sure that the meat is in the center of the lettuce leaf.lettuce is the most common vegetable used to make the samgyupsal wraps.

Step 12: A clove of roasted garlic, a slice of grilled onion, and a piece of kimchi should be added to the wrap.

Some people like to include a small scoop of steamed rice in the wrap.Whatever else you add is up to you!Depending on your personal tolerance, the amount you add to the wrap can vary.If you don't like a small piece, add it to your wrap.

Step 13: Wrap the lettuce around the meat and then dip it in ssamjang sauce.

You can put the lettuce in a pocket or roll it up.If you want to enjoy the mix of flavors all at once, you need a bite-sized wrap that you can pop into your mouth.Some of the grilled pork belly can be eaten on its own.You can either dip it in a little bit of ssamjang sauce or eat it with a variety of condiments.
